Nvidia drivers

Anyone haveing problems in game with latest drivers? A customer is haveing problems(jerky) playing cz with new 6600GT GLH.He lives a good trek away so thought I would ask and pre-arm myself before I go.

I run 6800GT on latest from nvidia website. Seems OK but not as good as older drivers (card doesn't overclock as well).

Worth checking the nvidia release notes for the drivers to see if there are known probs with the game in question.

my 5600 seems fine on the 71.89's although I did have to apply the refresh rate override registry tweak thingy again...60Hz doesn't cut it when your monitor can  :ranting: manage 200...

Nvidia release notes(written by Tolstoy by the looks ) dont seem to have anything solid. Probably just wind the driver back to earlier one. Thanks for the input lads,appreciated.

could THIS be a similar problem?

I get probs playing cs-source which I am convinced are to do with sounds (it laggs/judders whenever there is a sound, gunfire, birds tweeting, pavaroti etc.)
not the same as yours, I know, but I'm keeping me eyes peeled for possible answers.

I have it sorted now lads thx.

Must admit I was scratching me head before I got there.It had run great on the bench,cs,cz,source,so was a bit stuck.As usual only given half the story,it only jerked when turning,lol. So quick look at the mouse he was useing(some cheapo optical),swapped it out and it worked fine.Result!!! I love my customers. :yes:  :roflmao:
