Patch 103 on the way

Man people are going to moan about this as it doesn't address the most commonly mentioned annoyances with the game.

Friendlies showing up as enemy is my biggset bug bare and not even a mention! you should see my team kill 79! thats more playing bf2 since launch than i've ever had playing CS for 3 years! (well maybe not but you get the point).

Yeah that bug is annoying. I mostly get this when playing with 50-60 players, i.e. on the big maps, but never on the small ones. How about oyu?

I haven't seen that at all but it doesn't stop me killing my own team by mistake

I told hem I thought there should be an auto-login to account manager and that I wanted a 'last weapon used' key

well that is a start  and i am sure others have done the same
it might not help  but then again you never know   they might fix it   who knows

I think its great news and proves that EA are at least listening to the community. I'm under no illusions that they are doing this to keep us all happy, so they make more money when we buy future expansions etc - but thats business and I applaud them for it and their attitude.

Yes EA messed up by releasing the game too early initially and then panicking and releasing a patch that hadn't been tested, but I've got to say I'm happy with the latest patch even though it doesn't address all my niggles. Though looking at the latest 1.03 patch that will.

Novalogic could take a few lessons from EA - they where supposed to be bringing out a patch for Joint Ops about 8 months ago even asking for beta testers - the community has heard nothing since not even an apology - they've been left high and dry which is pretty appalling.

Many Novalogic forums have also posted the EA BF2 responses on their forums as an example of how a community should be treated.

I don'tknow your budget, but I just read a test (google, and you'll find it) stating that the Geforce 6600GT is one of the best value for money you can get.

Here in Norway it hovers around the equivalent of £130.

I play the game now with a Geforce FX5700LE. It is OK, but soon my new Geforce 6800GT will arrive (I hope). I saw BF2 on a 6600GT, and it looked really good.
