Startrek Nemesis

full of holes, errors, and a PANTS story line.  Its like someone dug up an old idea for a regular episode and padded it out to a film.....  insurection was the same....  baddies not credible enough.

Yes Die Another Day was a little too far fetched, but Pierce Brosnan kicks ass compared to Roger Moore and his trademark eyebrows.  Was there ever a decent Roger Moore bond film?  I think not.

Plus a man can never have too much Halle Berry.

Just saw Gangs of New York - truly excellent Daniel Day-Lewis performance and Dicaprio isn't as bad as I thought he'd be.  Not sure about Jim Broadbent's "New Yawk" accent though.
If I wanted you to understand I would have explained it better

Live and Let Die, Man with the Golden Gun, View to a Kill.....

Why not start a thread about films you should watch instead of hijacking this one you simian child

Sheesh monkey boy. Roger Moore IS James Bond. He brought the humour into the series. Sean Connery was the action Bond.

The only thing Pierce has brought along is commercials ... shiiiiite ... could you PLEASE zoom a bit closer on that Aston Martin logo ...

Actually the best Bond-movies if we only look at the story are (imho)

In Her Majesties Secret Service
The Living Daylight
Licenced to Kill

My favourite Moore movie is Octopussy.

Ok Neutron - just some of the many reasons you're wrong:

Man with the Golden Gun - Chris Lee criminally under-used, that midget assassin / butler being a rip-off of oddjob, and Octopussy appearing several films early.

Live and Let Die - Yaphet Koto, my how you've slipped since alien.  Jane Seymour being tricked into bed by Bond - Sean wouldnt have done that.

View to a Kill - Grace Jones and butterfly on fishing rod weapon.  Doh.  Chris Walken nearly saves it and I do have a soft spot for the theme tune, but Moore is getting on by now and looks a little wrinkly.

Even Tim Dalton was a better Bond than Moore - I think the Roger Moore films fall into that category of being remembered as far better than they really were.

Soory about that - seemed to have been signed out.  Any abuse about the "guests" comments should be addressed to me.

He he,

Although you have to admit that LALD was pretty cool. Wild Afros, Jane Seymour, the aligator bridge, the speed boat chase down the bayoo, Sheriff J.W. Pepper and the excellent Baron Samedi

MWTGG had one of the top baddies Christoper Lee was excellent as was Nick Nack  and the flying car was brilliant.

AVTAK had the best baddie ever with Christopher Walken. He was the only one who actually appeared as insane as you imagine a man bent on world domination would do,

I see your avatar has had a bad influence on you with your afro fixation.

Points duly noted and accepted with some trepidation.  The gator bridge was original and Chris Walken is insane.  Not appears to be.  He is.  How can a man so talented appear so so many bad films.  For shame.

How can someone possibly be wrong about something that is entirely a matter of personal opinion  :?:

However Sadako...you're spot on with your OHMSS being a woefully underated film

Give me MTV and commercial Pierce Brosnan any day.  The guys a credible Bond whereas Roger Moore just isn't the kind of character you can imagine Ian Fleming writing about.  Too many "nudge nudge wink wink" moments to the camera.  He has three facial expressions, and all of them belong on TV.

OHMSS is ok, but a pale shadow compared to the Sean Connery era.  Not really credible as a bond franchisee, but ok as a stand alone.

Such intelligent people getting it so wrong - for shame

I smite all those who say "13th Ghost" is crap.  (pardon me smitey :-)

A must see! superb, just seen it on sky box office..... cool flick.

I'm afraid it was indeed crap, but some gratuitous breasts managed to redeam it  :)

I guess it depends if your rating system formula for films is like:

Explosions + Deaths x Tits = Quality (where more=better)
