Quote from: DuVeL;97014German is easy:
Hello: Guten tag
How are you: Wie geht es mit dir?
Watch out: Aufgepast/Achtung
I'm English: Ich bin Englander
I don't speak German: Ich spreche keinem Deutsch.
Could you please use English: Wordest du English gebrauchen bitte?

And now for the more interesting things (when in Germany):
Do you want to f*ck?: Wolst du fieken?
A beer please: Ich mochte bitte einem beer.
That's a nice looking girl: Das ist ja ein schones madel.
Do you want something to drink: Mochtest du es was zu trinken?
Which way to the nearest disco? Wo ist hier das disco?
one: eins
two: zwei
three: drei
four: fier
five: funf
six: sechs
seven: sieben
eight: acht
nine: neun
ten: zehn

i bet when you say "wolst du fieken?" to a german girl she wouldn´t hit you, but she would probably only laugh, because you have such a likeable dutch accent duvel!... still today!
but there are a few quite useful sentences...

Actually, I'm from the East part of the NL and I speak German with a very decent accent. Also clubbing in Germany helps out quit abit (Zak & Index).
Funny thing happend; my m8 wanted to ask a girl a question, she replied in German and he wasn't interested anymore so I moved in...:D

For the rest, the East of the Netherlands are quit often compared to the Germans as we have several kind of accents through the Netherlands and ours resembles German quit a bit. If I'd use my accent in Amsterdam, they'd think I was German...
Ahwell, atleast I can talk proper Dutch aswell when I want to...
And yes, I know what that German line means. , better smilie; :boff:

Sheepy appears and begins to stroke my head. According to his slurred drunken speech I am "lovely and like a fuzzy felt". Thankfully he soon leaves and passes out somewhere. [/quote]
