BIG Thank-you

Got back after spending a few hours locked in an air tight mpv with Mr Trumpy sump gut (9Slice), unpacked the pc, still working, checked it and relieved to find no unusual images on it!!! :blush:

Last night continued building my new pc.

It was great to meet you all at my first Lan party. I wasn't sure what to expect, but what I found was a great set of lads and some interesting characters!! a relaxed atmosphere, nice hotel, good food and decent rooms.

I really liked the competitive team BF2 match we had, I'd liked to have played more of them, perhaps best of 5 or something?

Good to see so many BF2 players, hope to see you all on the server soon.

Great to be able to put a name to a face.

A few personal observations:
- Blunt looks older than what he sounds/act like

- Benny, FatBob, db(?) gave expert analysis of the england football match, they where funny as fook which is just as well as the match was dire! Great to meet you guys :lmfao:
- Sheepy, funny bloke, liked him a lot, we share a healthy animal fixation, even if mines aquatic and his land based, nice file selection :whistle:
- Dark Angel, good to meet you, I'll be chasing you for the MB bits you forgot to send me, nice pc

- Gandalf, good to fly with you buddy! I want your laptop!
- Snooks, respect!
- The dutchies, duvel (didn't get to speak to you much unfortunately) and Icehawk (?) amazed at your commitment travelling that far, but good to see you and thanks for the yummy biscuit
- Had a nice meal and chat with TL, Gandalf, Doorman etc
- Flibber(FBG) and the Ninja Freak dude for keeping it real both top blokes, it wouldn't be the same without your cursing and passion :lmfao:
- Lionheart, sorry for shooting you so much, but you got your revenge in the last game!
And great to meet the rest of you guys...

Big shout to TL for setting up the LAN and sorting the technical stuff out so we could all enjoy ourselves, cheers mate

I think on behalf of all the BIG guys I'd like to say a BIG thank-you... looking forward to the next one.. and the next ... and....

ps you've redefined my definition of gross :huh:

pps The person most likely to die from lack of sleep and constant gameplaying goes to our Ranger (Scarey Bloke as a lot of you all named him!)... jeez he's a machine... We had to tell him to stop to eat! Next Lan he's bringing an adult nappy and an introvenous drip so he doesn't have to move at all!

Nighthawk should be IceHawk. For the rest there was da_Ricci aswell but he just kept playing. You probably didn't notice him alot...
From what I've heard you guys can get the Apfelkorn from Lidls and the Stroopwafels from Starbucks. This was my third LAN and hopefully I'll be able to drop around a few more.
