I'm pretty easy to please in the film world, and it takes a truely awful film for me to completely dislike it. It's a kung fu film, so straight away, you know its going to be a plot-lite visual showcase. Given that I actually like quite a lot of the low budget Kung Fu films, I was hoping that this big-budget production would be good.

It wasn't. Possibly the worst film I have ever seen. I'm taking it back to fopp tomorrow, and I'm hoping they'll also refund the hour and a half of my life I just lost.

EDIT: In fact it isn't even possibly. It definitely is. I can't think of a single film that could possibly be any worse ever.

I liked it :D

Take it for what it's supposed to be and have a laugh ;)

I did take it for what it was meant to be, a comedy kung fu thing, but it wasnt funny. Ok, the stevie wonder martial artist/musician was quite funny, but that went on too long. But there werent enough amusing sections to make it a genuine comedy. And the rest of it was too paper thin to make up for that. Thus it was rubbish.

Rabbi Bob

I liked, but I ended up renting most of the movies in the trailers section and liked them better....

I saw it in the movie-theater-cinema-thingy when it was released here in DK. I actually thought it was quite funny, even if it is a bit lame  :P

Well if anyone wants a DVD of it, they can have it for £10 before I take it back to the shop.

Right, I've watched it again. I see where y'all are coming from, but its the excessive really powerful move using CGI stuff that is funny initially but then gets boring, and in fact becomes irritating. A lot of the non-CGI stuff I actually found quite palatable upon second viewing.

Dewey

I though it was Pap-man-doggy-doo - Hong Kong Phuey was funnier and he was a super-guy! WAAHHHAAA!  :dribble:

PlanB

I really liked it, I thought it was funny and pretty to watch. So much so i pretended i was Bruce Lee for a hour afterwards, then it was sleepy time so i had to go to bed.

Le Rouge

Lots of ppl said it's "the best film you've missed this year", and wrote that it was funny.
But it wasn't. OK, the frog thing may have been, but most the time I just glanced at the screen and FFed it.
