Motorcycle rentals in Scotland

In June I'm going to Scotland on a motorcycle trip.

A friend of mine wants to go too, but he needs to rent a motorcycle. Do any of you know a motorcycle rental where he can rent a decent motorcycle. It should be nearby Glasgow or Edinborough, but anywhere in Scotland (or within a couple of hours from Newcastle - which is not in Scotland, I know) is better than nothing.

When i hired one for the the MotoGP i had to just phone around local shops and they tend to point you towards someone.

I ended up hiring a 1200 bandit from someone who does trips around europe.

i dont live for from newcastle but i cudnt tell u a place, its mainly cars n van hire dont see much motorcycle hire companys if any

Didn't work as well for Edinburgh.
