So let me see if I get this straight:

The room costs DKK 4800.00 from the 1st to the 5th (devided on eight, that makes DKK 600.00 for each).
In adition it says:

· NOTE: The prices stated above are for holders of a valid YH membership card. You can buy the YH card upon arrival. A one-year card cost 160 DKK pr person and a guest card cost 35 DKK pr person pr day.

Which means that since none of us are members (I assume), we all have to pay DKK 35.00 for each day, which makes a total of DKK 175.00 for five days, and than it's cheaper to buy the one year membership.

We now have a total for each person on DKK 600.00 + DKK 160.00 = DKK 760.00

If you bring your own sheets, that's all you have to pay, and if you rent, you must pay DKK 60.00 extra for that (I assume that's for all 5 days, as long as you don't want to change sheets during the stay).

In the end, we all end up with DKK 760.00 (+ DKK 60.00)

I'm just writing this so that somebody can confirm that I got it 100% correct

And bdw, how will we handle that deposit?

and yeah bob, you got it right. ille prolly get my own sheets.. they take no space at all...(if they get dirty we buy some soap and wash them... totally easy )

upadate, the deposit (4800 DKK) is the full price, and its valid for 8 persons aswell, the only other fees welle have to pay is the card and the linen.. if youre not gonna bring your own

personally.. i think ille bring my own linen..if they get dirty ille just wash em..


now the problem is that i dont have that much money left in my primary account(ive already changed them to dkk notes, and ime keeping my visa  clear for an emergency)

There are two ways we could do this:

The easiest way if it would be possible: tell that hostel that we are 8 folks going for that trip, and they will resieve 8 equal shares of money (like if we could pay with our VISA cards in some way).

The second alternative: I can gather money from all the Norwegian folks going (meaning Ragnarh, Vargen, Spiritus, Addy, Tenilia, JT and myself) and transfer to your account.  A transfer to abroad takes about 8 days according to my bank, so that will have to be done quite fast if we need it done by the 26th.  I don't know how much extra a transfer like that will cost.

Or does anybody else have any ideas?  Could we perhaps ask the hostel for some kind of postponement?  Like perhaps if one of us can guarantee with a VISA card or something, we wouldn't have to pay the deposit before we arrive?
