Escape Maps

The map we put on N42 was es_losangeles.
T's had to escape from a surrounded bank type thing. CT's had to get 'em. If the T's waited long enough they could blow the safe and escape a different way, so there was time constraints on the CT's to either nail 'em or cover the exits......

(which reminds me of cs_robbery or bankjob or whatever it is, great map)

I see your point smiley (about the maps, not the graddy jobs - just wait till I'm your boss, then you'll be MY tea boy bitch) and AVP 2 does work well with the species differences, but I'm sure we can sort it for CS

I have been looking, and Smiley is right in that there are few that are decent.  

However, a german map I downloaded was quite fun to play.  It's called es_horror.  I have the file if an admin can't find it on the web.

It's like a hoky haunted house with Ts stuck in a castle trying to escape through an abandoned village, with CTs starting in the village.  There are plenty of weapons strewn inside the castle for Ts to balance the firepower, and there is a fairly clear demarcation boundary for PCS rules.  Theres even a couple of sneak routes undeground into the village for Ts to flank, rather than just the standard melee rush.

I played los angeles, frantic and a couple of others without being inspired, but this I found quite fun and certainly had potential for a second look by a select group.

Personally I cant stand VIP maps, but I tolerate because, as a community, we try to cater to all.  Please remember that Smiley (handbags officially drawn now   :wink:  :wink: )
