Help !!!!!!!!!

Hey guys I need some help. My mic on my headset isn't working sort of.
I plugged it in and the earphones work great but know one can hear me when I talk. I went into "voice" in the options menu in CS and did a test and it semms to be working there but lastnight know one could hear me. Any ideas?

Do you have your push to talk key bound properly? It may sound silly, but its a big factor...

Is there a default button I have to push to talk, I was under the asumtion that when ever I talked you could hear me.

Check your key binds, I can't remember it for CS, it might be V. But its probably best u change it.

No you have to hold down a button to speak. mine is mouse 5. Default might be K, not sure though.

From what I've noticed there isn't a default, you ahve to go and bind one yourself. I use Q meself!

That doesn't work as his mic is in cs already working the only thing he needs to do is bind a key to talk to the people on the server.

Just go into options (ingame) then bind a key to it.

Or edit your config file.
If you do that then enter this line to your file: bind "MOUSE4" "+voicerecord"

"mouse4 can be any key that you want, that is up to you"

Thanks to all who replied, I got it all sorted out.
By the way, I never thought about useing one of the mouse buttons for talking.

If you have enough buttons, then why not.
I use a Nostromo N52 which has loads of keys, do a Googlesearch on it.
On my mouse buttons I have 1 = normal shooting, 2 = secondary fire, 3= fast switch pistol, 4= fast switch knife.
