I dont know why my cz keeps going to default
I use a z-board, and I've set me keys so I can buy/swap/talk etc.
but usually iI have to reconfig my keys at the start as they've all gone default
my spray dissapears all the time too...
grrr

Make your config file "read only". That would be config.cfg under CZ.

Just don't forget, set keys and only after that read only.

BTW, there are servers who can reset your settings sometimes but with a Read only Configfile they can't do that.

Best off leaving config.cfg alone and editing/write protecting userconfig.cfg, should be there as standard but can be created if need be.  Just make sure at end of config.cfg there's a line that says 'exec userconfig.cfg'.
Thats the correct way of doing things.

Also your problem could be because the config's write protected already, you change ingame but they can't be saved due to the write protection.   :thumb:

Method

on call of duty 2 you can delete your config and it creates a fresh one when you load up your game. not sure if it's the same with CZ but it was just an idea
