easier if you have an idea of what you want in your avatar starting with a blank canvas takes more time...

e.g. type "graffitti" into google image search...

You still haven't said if that's the sort of thing you have in mind. Go find an image you like and ask nicely if someone will take the time to try convert it into an avatar or something for you. Starting with a blank canvas takes time - aren't you on holiday at the moment?
