I can now understand why people lose so much time playing online role playing games. I have spent 11 hours over 3 days playing Guild Wars! I have vowed to give it a rest for a week but feel strangely drawn to the land of cantha  and the need to level up my online persona. I'm just glad I bought GW and not WoW. no subscription fees!

Yeah but we can walk across the world without having to wait for the map to load, you only get to go 100yards before the next load lag bites you in the derriere. :norty:

If you think GW is good, you aint seen nothing yet, WoW is better.  Period.

ive got both....but i never play GW anymore ..Like TL said..alot of loading..we only load when going in instances and thats for less then 30seconds(depends on PC ofc.)

GW is strange...hard to understand what to do...u can have 2 classes :S

Oddly, I just quit WoW, and didn't get more than a week into GW. Guess MMORPGs just aren't my thing.

I get tired of levelling up just to able to, well, level up... After a while it starts  to get pointless.

but it gets exciting at periodic parts. ie lvls 1 - 20 very quick
 
17 1st instance
25 next one
 
continue in this vein.
 
lvl 40 mount
 
lvl 50 getting close
 
lvl 58, where i will be after another 20 - 30 mins of game time..... getting so close!!!!

I have'nt noticed any lag in GW:Factions with v short loading times on the odd occasion certainly nothing on the scale you have referred to. So far I am pleasantly surprised. I thought the map was v small but have just opened up a new huge bit so looking forward to exploring that.

gw has nice gfx, gameplay sucks

wow has gfx and very addicitng gameplay

I bought GW from DarkAngel, haven't played it after BF2 came out.
Also not my kind of gaming.
Survivor of LAN V, VI, VIII, IX, X, XII, XIV, XVI, XVIII, XX, XXIV, XXX, XXXII, XXXIV and XXXVI so far...
