mmm i noticed that there is a mistake in my last post, it should be at the left side of the page   lol
i prefer to use these sets, they are really good, but test them first cos each one has its own difficulty. (most are actually wr sets  )
i ll add u guys to my buddy list on lfsworld so i can see when u are online!

Most of the sets I've used in the past have been wr sets. makes no bloody difference! You're either a 'fast' or 'not fast' driver, I'm a 'not fast' driver

Yes, but you should change your setup by deselecting "Bloke in front of car waving red flag"

in lfs it's all about training ur skills, trying to attack the corner in a different way.... and 1 day u ll manage to keep up the pro drivers. (i look forward to that day!!! )

In the fwd car I reckon it's largely about keeping it smooth whilst maintaining speed through the corners, especially on the exiting of said corners... 1:41s with the keyboard (stabilised) and 1:43s with the mouse are my better lap times so far. Mouse-control is much much more responsive but I find it very tricky to judge how far I've "turned" the wheels so end up skidding it too much which kills exit speeds. The setups make a difference to how forgiving the XFG is to poorly mouse-controlled steering :) mouse doesn't "return to centre" either of course, which can make the straights interesting!

:lmfao: My days are running out. I've peaked too early! Hey! It's nice being patronised. And you lot complained.

those times are really not that bad, with a wheel, and after some practice u can do about 3-4 sec faster. The fastest lap for me on blackwood (xfg) with the mouse was a 1 37. was a good time but way off the pro's lol. but i recommend u to buy the S2 full game, much more fun!!! it's certainly not wasted money

suicidal_monkey

due to there being drawers in the way my wheel doesn't really affix to this desk easily (and no I can't get a new desk...) ...it also didn't affix to the desks at the lan, at least not conveniently due to the bits of wood ... perhaps there are other wheels with better clamps that need less desk-edge?

1:38.23. LFS world. I reckon the 1:35 came from those very helpful keyboard control days. Remember those?

LOL i beat the world record   I wish.

I have no idea then

.... Keyboard was the way forward. Throw away those pesky wheels and revert
