Yep.. Here goes yet another one

Guys. I am sorry to announce that my time as a raiding member of Silver Oak Guardians is over. I’ve decided to step down to the rank of Soldier. The reason I’ve done this is that.. I most likely won’t continue playing World of Warcraft after ‘Burning Crusade’ is released. There is still some time to that will happen, and don’t get me wrong. I love World of Warcraft and I love Silver Oak Guardians, and I love raiding, but.. it has come to an end for me.  I've played this game for more than 1½ year and I don't wanna spend 1½ more playing 'Burning Crusade'.
Besides.. As some of you might know I’ve been blessed with a Norwegian girlfriend, and I have the last many weeks been looking for a job in Oslo without success. However. When I get one up there (which hopefully will happen soon) I am going to dedicated all of my time to her, that job and rebuilding a social life in a new area with new people.

  Now I could choose to continue raiding until I get the job or ‘Burning Crusade’ is released, but I can’t do that with a clear conscience.
  Last time I went to BWL I had one paladin and two tanks who passed on Drake Talon Shoulders. I am very grateful that they would do that. But after a while I began feeling guilty that I had asked for those shoulders and the wrath that dropped that night. And I felt bad about Secohan passing on the Breastplate of annihilation from Ahn’Qiraj. They wanted those items as much as I did, but knowing now that I am not going to continue with World of Warcraft after ‘Burning Crusade’ they would have more use of those items. Some might call me a ‘*******’ while others will say that its ok because they will drop again. Won’t deny any of them and I still feel bad about it, about taking the items.
  That is why I have decided to let the Field Marshals demote me to Soldier-rank. That way you will also get a new warrior in who can get some new equipment, which he can actually use for the greater good of the guild for your further progress through the current instances and the ones to come.
   

  I hope that you guys won’t split in two from pure madness of me skipping out after having taken these items.
  I am truly happy that I came into Silver Oak Guardians and have been here for more than 1½ year. I made great friends, been drunk with some of you and learned most of what I know about my class and World of Warcraft through people from Silver Oak Guardians. World of Warcraft is without doubt the best game I’ve ever played and the most time-consuming one aswell. And Silver Oak Guardians is filled with Aszune’s finest.
  I am not going to delete Nefertem, nor any of my other characters, nor disenchant everything he owns. I’ve spent too much time and money to make him what he is now. I could, however, not have achieved what I did without Silver Oak Guardians and for that I would like to thank all of you for being the best.
  As I am only a few months into my last ‘six-months-subscription’ I might pop in once in a while for a chat, some PvP or 20 man raids. I might even be able to persuade to help some of you out if you catch me online or on Messenger. It will most likely not be often though, and after the release of ‘Burning Crusade’ I will probably not be seen online again. But who knows. Perhaps Ill buy it just to come online and look at you guys as you reach level 70. :norty:
  I will also still be reading the forums just to follow your Raidprogress.
  I wish all of you the best of luck as you continue to explore the amazing world of Azeroth. :smile:

You made a good decision, which I can only have respect for. I dont think any of them would be mad because you took the items. They'll drop again or something better. Its a shame to see you go Nefertem, been awesome raiding with you the months that you were in RG2 :clap:
