This is might come as a surprise to you guys but...
 
I considered stopping playing WoW for some time now and I think now is the time. But it seems many people seem to have quit this month and it highly gives the impression that I'm following the crowd. Well I'm not.
 
Its so fun and entertaining while I'm playing but the moment I'm not, I think to myself "You gotta stop dude...its capable of ruining your life".
 
I'm kinder sleepy and I really don't want to write out an essay but I know the uncomfortable feeling of being curious so I'll dish out the main reasons why I'm gonna stop:
 
1. College is getting a lil more hardcore these days and I'm not gonna be able to keep up with the amount of work if I play much and I won't be able to study well either if I think much about this game.
 
2. My relationships with my friends and families have faded away cause them talking to me is like talking to a brick wall as playing WoW is the only reason why I glare into the screen for many hours a day...I want to re-build my social relationships and I know I've been a dcik to the people who've been trying to look out for me.
 
3. Game manuals usually say you should take a break once in a while. Well playing this game its hard to do that and I'm aware of the effects its having on my body and I don't want it to continue any longer. This includes headaches, degraded vision and so on. I may be a bad-ass in WoW but RL you think of me as a sissy kek but you gotta one day force yourself to stop.
 
I'm still deciding what to do with my char whether its to DE and send all gold and shards to G-Bank or leave him for the good of no-one (or miraclesly start playing one day again?). My decision will be made once my time suscription runs out which will be like in 2 months kek. Maybe you guys can help me decide what fate Keltor is gonna have?! Xblast is still gonna play although I might just close his account too cause hes starting high school and this is seriously not the period to be playing games...
 
Just like what everyone else say when they write a goodbye message, you SoG players are the best bunch of chaps I've spent time on WoW. Funny, supportive, gay?, serious and family is what I think this guild is made from and I like that! As much as its painful to uninstall, leave the DKP lying there =P, forcing myself to never ever touch the game case again and so on, I believe this is the right decision for me and my future and if I hurt RG2's progress, I'm very very sorry but no fear, warriors come in high stocks =)

My opinion is DONT DE, or typr DELETE..! Blizzard wont delete you acc just freeze it m8. Take your time with school and social life. when u are all over it re-install pay for 1 month and maby dont raid seriously but just do some AQ20 or ZG. thats only 3 hrs playtime and your own desicion how meny times you want to attend.

I havent been in the guild that long time as meny of you guys but i can say for sure.! Your the best, and seeing you take off 1 after 1, is sad to see..

Keltor: your decision is wise and good.  It sounds like the right thing for you to do, and than that's something you should go through with.  I call it brave!
And as others have said as well: don't delete the character, keep the door open for a potential comeback sometime in a far future.

Hello there. I didnt want to write this in the forums, but I think you are doing the right thing in your position.

It is hard, damned hard. But it is easier to make a recovery in WoW than to pick up all the threads of a RL that has been neglected.
 
I feel the same way about wow as you, but nowadays, playing doesnt give me the same satisfaction as before. But this is the only way I can keep in touch with my friends back home.
 
Give it a real break, then consider playing once in a while. Freezing your account doesnt cost any money.
 
Good luck to you, whom ever you might be out there in this world, you cannot ever be replaced. Players in wow are unique - but your friends and family (not SoG family are the ones that lasts a lifetime. Take care of those.
