As some of you know, I'm going back to uni this year (yey me) and for the first year I might have an unholy connection that blocks most ports (for example the ports that are needed to be able to play WoW). I leave on the 24th, so I will be missing the raid that night more than likely, as I probably won't even have the internet set up where I'm living straight away. This will make Thursday's raid possibly the last one for a while.

I've also made a request to the officers to give me 2 weeks to get something sorted about being able to play WoW while I'm at uni before getting a demotion (saying I'm going away for 10 weeks is all well and good, but I doubt they want to leave me as a guardian for that long, would be better to replace me with someone who can raid during that time).

As the title says, this is not something that I want to do, but if I don't get something sorted, then I don't really have any choice. I just thought it'd be nice for the members of RG1 (along with the other members of SoG) to hear from me now, and not from the officers in 2 weeks before or after they demote me if I haven't gotten something sorted since then.

I'll still be around on the forums checking up on progress if I can't get something sorted :smile:

Good luck with your first term, first week you'll just want to go out and get drunk/whatever so no need to worry about raiding then!

Just use  a socksifier (or whatever it's called) and tunneler, I did for my whole first year when I was playing Eve Online hehe!
