Sheepy appears and begins to stroke my head. According to his slurred drunken speech I am "lovely and like a fuzzy felt". Thankfully he soon leaves and passes out somewhere. [/quote]

And everyone should bring their Tuxedo, Wedding Dress or Vestment of the shifting sands, along with a bunch of flowers (available from the florist at Stormwind). :norty:

lol dress or DJ, flowers in one hand 13lb fish in other hand :)

hogger would be funny but a bit too easy... also does hogger actually count as NPC? as in he's not interractable he's just a mob...

would it be possible to kite a horde npc to somewhere odd and then MC him there so its a well known npc but not where he usually is?

Article 8: Aim of the competition
Guild Masters must select a scene displaying their entire guild positioned stood close to a well known Non-Player Character.

'entire guild' :O with such short notice, ouch

Yeah, but sumthing with a little more originality, would prob have a bigger chance of winning.
I, personally, think Hogger is too "easy".
Don't have any better ideas myself atm, just Nat Pagle, but he might be a little obvious too..

edit: The Princess in maraudon? Let our GM marry her, and we're all the wedding guests..? Dunno if there is a way to do it though, in a 5-man dungeon...

Hmm, not so sure about that, sure, he's a non-player, but character? hmm I thought that meant something with a part to play in the game /plot/lore/interaction, hogger is *just* a mob, the majority of rpgs split entities into:

player characters (real people)
non-player characters (chars with scripts/interactions/something to do)
enemies/mobs (spawns that hit you)

it's probably ok, but wouldn't it suck to miss out because of a technicality

My goodness....server is gonna crash for sure if that is realy needed:blink:

Hogger is a bit...well...boring. Also the little ******* walks around all the time, so unless he's MC'ed he'll screw up the screenshot for sure.
City bosses/racial leaders is also gonna give a problem, because they are usualy in small rooms/area that can't possibly hold that many people to get a cool screenie.

Raidbosses aint gonna work either, outdoors are either hostile (dragons, Kazzak) or dead (Azuregos), and 40 man dungeons....well, only hold up to 40 people so not the entire guild.

Pretty hard to come up with a good/cool well-know npc that has enough room for lots and lots of players.

How about getting the whole guild to that Dancing Troll City you fly above when you go from moonglade to Darkshore?

It's a bit tricky to get there (have done it myself, found a couple of videos at google that showed how to, and also read a bit on a couple of web pages), but as long as one lock and two more got there it shouldn't be much of a problem.

I don't think there are any "famous" NPCs, but there are lots of NPCs, and it's a really cool place too :)

Only too bad my computer is screwed these days, so I won't be able to participate
