Hello sog, Yes an other post of a rg1 member leaving
im going to be honest with you, im not stopping wow or going to play less. im moving to Genesis as well
 
Why? well not that my time in sog has not been great, but its the recent developments over the past few months, slacking attendance so many new people that i can hardly tell people apart in guildchat and having a fellow rg1 paladin on my ignore list for the last 4-5 weeks i did not like doing either
and the worst thing, a split in RG1 one group wanting to push things further and play motivated, and one group seeming to want to grind bwl and not bother in aq40, or further back not try many new bosses in bwl  or even further back want to grind MC instead of progress in bwl it all goes back to major domo in my raiding history
something the officers have done everything they could do against.. but you cannot change the nature of certain people nor should you need to
 
genesis offers me a new chance at this, first seeing a lot of my old sog friends in raids again will be great. having a motivated group of people that dont give up after the first few wipes
 
this how ever is a gamble, and it is very hard for me to leave the save haven of sog who gave me so many good times and let me make so many friends, but those times have been very rare for me lately and what if friendship if it cannot cross a small guild boundery
 
i want to take this gamble, and hope i will get the fun of raiding again instead of a chatbox with funny animations in the backgroud because that is what raiding has been reduced to for me
 
So i wish Sog the best of luck, and i hope i will still have a very long friends list with sog people in it
