Clearly you have access to private in-game whispers between third parties and to the content of previous discussions between those parties which we do not have direct access to.
Quote from: shadowscream;171211I too have experienced the same kind of behavior from you FMs, don't tell me I have no idea mester. This is the kind of harassment that happens when a person gets promoted in guild than he think´s the rank gives him the right to do as he/she likes.
Seriously if you have suffered this then why did you not speak to an FM about it?  Letting things fester is rarley a positive thing - but it is convenient for you to be able to mention it right now.  Re your tone of chat, cool it.  I was not trying to insult, I was trying to point out some basic facts.  You were not present for the whole conversation - you got bits of it third hand, ie you did not get all of it and were there for none of it.  The point I was making was that this means it is unreasonable for you to appoint yourself judge & jury and reach a conclusion.  As for calling people 'mester'????
Quote from: shadowscream;171211Take your own post here, that kind of respond, just because you own this forums ( admin whatever hell it is) and have played wow in 2 years and know hell alot of people in SoG and our server, then you have rights to say whatever you desire to anyone, this is exactly what this matter was and is about.
Err.  What are you on about?  Being an admin on a forum has nothing to do with my response.  I made my response as a SOG member and mature adult.  Please get back on topic.
Quote from: shadowscream;171211No. I think you missunderstood what I said there, try read my post again.I said I hope to hear something from the other side of story, wasn't necsesarily meaning on the forums, but from the persons in game. and my bias 2 cent was : take the game as a game and not as a ****ing battle field where there are ranks and orders, play it for the fun and be as brothers.
Why on earth would anyone come to you to deliver information about an issue that does not involve you?  Let the parties take it private otherwise it becomes a public ****ing contest which is absolutely pointless.  It might, eventually, become public once a conclusion has been reached, or if the discussion between the member and the FMs is not satisfactorily resolved, but let's hope they deal with it in private, otherwise issues like  this stir up all sorts of ill-informed comment from third-parties.  I'm not saying that I know what went on, I'm just pointing out that you probably are not in possession of all relevant facts.
Quote from: shadowscream;171211About Wierd. Mate I remember the days we were defender, now you are FM then you got the right to disrespect another guild member, because you are in da club of FMs?
I believe discipline of FMs is a matter for the GM, not you.  There needs to be a case and he makes the decision, not you.  Where is your right to disrepsect an FM?  Ask someone you know the same question.  Or maybe your all-seeing eye missed those conversations.

As an officer I feel obligated to make these sort of posts, to provide some guidance as it were, but sometimes I wonder why I bother when they are so misinterpreted.

Danish word for Champ.. as a champion not a chimp (can be used both for good and bad)

Anyways.. Nothing useful (except for Noev link) has come out of this thread and most likely, nothing will.. Just a lot of anger and misunderstandings.. Rarely a good combination to be honest..
So Ill suggest we all do a memory wipe and the persons directly involved with the incident at hand will sort it out in private so the rest of us can live happily ever after?

PPL chill out and stop comenting on this post. This is between the ppl concernd and the Field Marshals/GM.

Just to point somthing out. Aprili was standing in the spot where u do not get the debuff from Firemaw, and can still heal the MT1 and MT2. Since i was on that side i could see who was getting the debuff and not.

As far as i know, this is the tactic healers on broodlords side in RG1 use. Correct me if im wrong. Cause i normaly stand on the other side of the wall, in Firemaw's room.

So Wierd and Aiprili get this thing sorted out. But privatly, no need to drag it here. That's where u have other FM(like the ones from RG1) and the GM(Bastet)

So let's leave this as it is, and do not comment more here. If this happens i would urge a admin to close this thread, as it will not gain anything.

Now off topic, Mazii great pics :dribble:

I can make a comment on your tactics JT.

As all healers stand on broodlord side they can fully heal the tanks without getting the debuff all the time. Rest of the raid should just know when to step out of sight and bandage them self. The healers on ebonroc side will get buffed during healing...and I think that when all people pay attention to the debuffs and step out of sight on time there is no need to heal others..... nice one!

But totally off-topic btw.... sorry for hijacking your post...

How much i like bonking ppl, i do prefer to get all the info. Also since i expect the FM's to give the good example, they probably wont add the counterpoints here. It would just escalate in a giant flame war. If you have a problem, i, or other FM's would be more then happy to talk to you, or other ppl involved.

OT: On the tactic:

The current tactic for RG1 is that the paladins stand on that side, due to the nature of paladin builds, its nearly impossible for them to get agro due to healing.

Priests and druids on the other side of the wall heal flat out and then sink in a corner to bandage, and let debuff expire. If a priest goes to the paladin spot yes they can heal, yes they wont get debuff, the problems are you can heal all the time and sometimes get to high on agro list (MT1 can always die, MT2 generaly doesnt have nearly as much agro) and more importantly if MT's have to move firemaw you lose LOS, and before RG1 had priests/druids on other side, that was a near certain whipe.

Please dont break with the tactics as proposed by FM's, most of it has a reason, most of the reasons might not be known to ppl, i doubt most RG1 raiders know them, but that dont make em less important.

shadow/alaha, you might be very ****ed off atm, but shouting around like mindless monkeys is not the way to go, actually, this thread is making more harm then good to a delicate situation

and shadow, teaelle is not that kind of person, i know him enough to say this, but you on the other hand dont know him that much, so please before going around and flaming ppl, be sure youre 101% sure of what youre saying, and most important do it in a discreet way.

and if you feel youre about to rage, wash your face with cold water, or sleep... youlle end up much more reasonable

nope more like:

Giant flame wars are series of huge flaming messages in electronic discussion groups such as usenet, mailing lists or internet forums. There are a number of characteristics of electronic communication which have been cited as being conducive to flame wars. Electronic communications do not easily transmit facial expressions or voice intonations which may serve to moderate the tone of a message. (However, some users may add on smileys (e.g. ;) ) to lessen the sting of a negative post, or to clarify the meaning behind a post.) Also, there is typically a lag time between the time a message is transmitted and the time a reply is read. These two characteristics can cause a "positive feedback loop" in which the emotional intensity of an electronic exchange increases to extremely high levels. Many times, the intent of a message is misunderstood, causing an unintentional flame war. These tend to escalate and worsen very quickly, sometimes causing the topic in which the reply is submitted to be closed, or "locked."
Alternatively, flame wars may be instigated deliberately by Internet trolls.

How the HELL can u use the the word "chill-pill" and then post a picture of Jessica Alba in a see-through dress??!! That is utterly and completely WAY out of line, and I got very hot-headed (!) when clicking on the link.

And I felt kinda decieved too, u morons!

If I ever see that kind of behavior again, it WILL be brought to the FM's, but not before I have flamed u to hell and back!
