I just want to make a comment regarding the map choices in general for MeatHook and the Ladder. When we look at maps for the rotation we try to find maps that are interesting tactically and will result in varied TCS gameplay. We also try to find maps that are different from the ones we already have e.g. dust night, office flipped, and second strike. We look at environment e.g. lighting, access routes, graphics, close combat vs sniping etc. to ensure we don't play only maps with dust graphics for example.

The reason for the addition of second strike was quite clear to us. The map is small which could mean intense gameplay, but with the option for Ts to attack slowly combined with many routes and levels. The map requires very good voicecomms and from playing it I wouldn't say it it biased towards any team. Both teams need to play smart and vary their tactics. Going to the same spot round after round is not a good tactic. Also the environment is very different from what we have before.

I did like the one we trialled last night called De_street or something?

Only played it from T side but it's pretty intense... had a good fun rounds on that :thumbsup2:
