What's the laptop? Is this when using the built-in keyboard, or an external?

Does indeed seem a bit odd that it is treating your full keyboard like a laptop (no num pad) one... Any settings in BIOS about that?

Seems like you have the function lock (f) on.

As already mentioned, there is usually some kind of settings for how the NumLock/Fn keys are to behave on the laptop, and I have also seen settings where you also can make this apply to an external keyboard as well as the built-in.

So check the bios, and perhaps there also were some programs that came with the drivers where you can fix settings like this in windows as well.

No drivers to install (Checked)

No bios settings (Checked too)

Its a internal keyboard, ive got a 17" widescreen ...screen... do there is both normal keys and a numpad... So there is no need for a fn-key (And yes, i have tried all the fn-f# combos, fn-numlock combo...)

Its a HP Pavilion 9074ea.... thanks... Mail sent to HP-Support, possibly there is some checkbox that needs to be unchecked... Hopefully....
