Not really, If you do a bit of research on the swastika you will find that it has been a religious symbol for many, many years (long before the Nazi's every turned it into a symbol of hate). It originates from India IIRC.

Spot on. The swastika or solar cross is a very old symbol.

Yeah. Seen a lot on Buddhist statues. One of the few religions that truly seems peaceful don't shove their theories down your throat, and one of their symbols is now a symbol widely associated with hate and a dark time in history. Isn't that just a perfect example of how this world works?

Perhaps, but considering the loaded past of the more recent use, i wouldnt bet on seeing to many ppl running arround with tattoos like that. The more recent use has left a bigger mark.

T-Bag

The symbol was chosen because of it's original meaning, and now few people associate it with anything else. It's happened with many things throughout history.

jup, just look at Christianity for example, a lot of symbols (big or small) all got other meanings, to gain more acceptance under non christians, they either chanced it to positive or to very negative.

(my apologies to anyone that might find this offensive)
