Meathook Custom Maps

On most the maps you need to extract the files into your /counterstrike source folder. I believe some just go straight into the maps folder however. It's best to check after it's been extracted to see where they are and cut and paste if needed.

WinRAR works just like Winzip. You unpack the files to the location of your choice. The rar-file itself is not readable by steam.

Ye I understand that but my comp isn't unpacking those WinRar-files but I've got on those custom-maps even I have those WinRar-files in my maps-files??:g:

And I think the best way to get those custom-maps working is to do it like Mjr... (can't remember his name) says..

I do have winrar but my comp doesn't want to unpack those files in that position( dunno why)

Un rar the files to anywhere just note where it is putting them. Once they are unpacked you can copy them to the right place. I always unzip/unrar to a temp directory as you can never guarantee what the folder structure will be like.

'kin' cpl_mill map. I've downloaded from the various links posted and installed it but whenever I join it says the server version differs from mine. I tried deleting the .bsp file and downloading it from the server but I get the same error! :ranting2:
