Grrrr - my internet has been down since friday!

Hi folks

Friday morning my internet-connection stopped working - and it has been like that since. I have talked to my ISP and the only responce i get is "Oh, the central is down, try again in a few hours...". :angry:

Thats what they said friday, saterday, sunday and again this morning....:taz:

I hope it will be up and running soon!

That's too bad.

If it lasts much longer, you should take a trip to that ISP's office and bring a bat or a iron rod or some other blunt, heavy object - only language they understand sometimes :norty:

Go to their HQ, and give the guy in charge an offer he can't refuse: Either his signature or his brain will be on the piece of paper you brought (would even be nice if you actually filled the paper with a deal that made them fix the i-net and boost your connection to 100m/bit, and make it free for you).. It helped in Godfather (not with I-net though), so it has to help now :flirty:

tell them that you are paying them for a serc\vice they don't delivver. and hear what they are gonna do about it? coz generally when you order you agree on a contract.. just as neffles said.. or not that harsh.. if you know what i mean(ment/can't spell that word)..

No big surprise here - but the "central" is still down.

I can almost hear them whipser amongst them selves "Lets make him shut up - tell him it is our higest priority - and now lets go for a pint".:eyebrow:

Damn i hate it when they are wont give you a timeframe! :rtfm:

Whooot - im online again

Only took them a bloody week to fix it - but hell, they will upgrade my connection to 20 mbit (from 8 mbit) within 2 months as part of a greater upgrade - for no extra cost - so the hell with 1 week of downtime
