Hello and welcome to the forums, haven't had the privilege of playing against/with you yet, hopefully soon though.

To answer you question:

1. To get an avatar, click on "user cp" at the top left hand side of your screen. On the next page in the left hand column click "Edit Avatar", this will allow you to choose yourself an avatar by uploading it from your PC.

2. Most people play Meathook on Friday nights, access to this server can be found here.
