Quote from: DuVeL;253501I don't use customguns as I said once before. ED might give problems with that.

I actually sometimes play on some public servers which have consistency checks turned on.  I'm considering writing a program to easily switch custom guns in and out (possibly by a hotkey?) because although it's straightforward to change back to default models, it gets tedious.

I'll post here if I get around to it. :)

I'm curious to see if it's possible. Because I know when you alt-tab CSS it reloads probably the entire GCF. I'm pretty sure you can't change it when in-game, because that would make cheating a lot easier. Please do post!

My heart rejoices whenever I see a nice custom model performing a wonderful new custom animation.

Yeah I think they load when you load CSS.

How do you reload default weapon skins by the way?

Well the way I do it is to move all the weapons folders out of models/materials/sounds, that way it reverts back to the gcf files.

Just checked, they definitely load when the game is loaded, moving them afterwards, even while disconnected, does very strange things.  So not much use for a hotkey then, but you probably wouldn't need to change them in the middle of a game very often anyway.

When I want to get rid of my custom models I just rename the folders in cstrike they are in. It's easy enough to rename them if you want them back.
