Below is posted a copy of my post on the official forums (found here) about druids and how to remain crit immune. Also see my armory profiles here. Hopefully you all will find this usefull and worth keeping about :)

Note that it starts as a reply to some1 pointing to flask of fortification or elixer of resilience as a way to become crit immune.

QuoteIdeaely you want to become crit immune without having to rely on pots or flasks, not every fight needs one and they get pretty expensive on the long run. If you check my armory profile you will see that i am stacked upto the roof with +12 stam gems and enchants where possible.

Crit immunity is reached through:
+16 Def rating head enchant,
+22 Def rating Necklace of Juggernaut,
+15 Def rating shoulder enchant,
+15 Resiliance rating chest enchant (rare, but very powerfull enchant)
+21 Def rating Heavy Clefthoof Boots,
+20 Def rating Adal's Signet of Defense (Magtheridon head reward)
+19 Def rating Violet Signet of the Great Defender

To be changed ratings:
+12 Resiliance rating Exorcists Dragonhide Helm; to be replaced with T4 head,
+27 Def rating Earthwarden; to be replaced with Wildfury Greatstaff,

Crit immunity to be regained after above mentioned upgrades through:
+24 Def rating Gilded Thorium Cloak,
+22 Def rating Phoenix-Wing Cloak,

Which leaves a margine of 4/2 points of Def rating or equivilent before i can be crit again, still looking for a replacement for Heavy Clefthoof Boots, but they have +66 Stamina too, which makes them a valueable addition specialy combined with the high armor they currently have. Either of the cloaks mentioned as replacements for my current Thoriumweave cloak will grant crit immunity, armor values differ greatly, but at my current armor level i could comfertably pick either.

Note that my gear gives me the following unbuffed stats (bear form) at this moment:
27637 Armor (72.36% reduction)
14596 Health (21,700 with full raid buffs, flask, imp, shout)
1403 Attack Power
31.16% Dodge
Aszune (Alliance):
Sokhar lv 80 (H/M) Warrior, Sokhár lv 80 (H/M) Death Knight, Beset lv 70 (NE/F) Druid, Bastet lv 70 (NE/F) Rogue, Mentu lv 70 (Dr/M) Shaman

Anyone know about gear bug not showing correct Defense value?

On my defense stats i have 414 but if i add up all of my gear it comes to 502.
I have tried to look on the wow forums and google but not found anything on it.

Jim

try taking your gear off and putting it back on....

I had that a while ago with resillience problems saying i had 100 less before i re-equiped my gear and had that 100 back :)

Silly question, but are some of the stats form dependent?  Ie only apply in bear form.  If so then armory (if that is where you are checking) might show a lower number as it shows non-bear form numbers.

I think you're confusing defense rating with actual defense. You'll need 2.36 defense rating per point of defense; this is where the difference is comming from.

(502 - 350) / 2.36 + 350 = 414.
