Still not working. However, I noticed that we have
 
Mani v1.2N or baldric
Mani v1.2R on boomer

Ok, that is strange. According to HLSW it is BetaN on baldric and betaR on MH and boomer. Map adverts work on china on MH but not baldric.

ok I found more mani files in addons as well as addons\mani_admin\bin and have copied those over as well. Baldric now reports beta R. Can some one check adverts pls?

Still no signs. However, I do get this message when I am on the server

Sorted the language bug and restarted server. I hate mani, it has files all over the bloody place

There are no signs at all, not on "older" maps either.
 
On another note the mani map list is out of date as well.

The jpgs (t and CT no entry signd) are in right place as are vmt files etc, the config is set properly with map_adverts set to 1 and mani has been set to same version on both servers so what have I missed?

Nope, downloads didn't fix it. We are trying uploading the files to sadakos webspace to see if the sv_download URL is screwing things up

Whitey! Any ideas? Mats and I spent an hour trying to get no-entry signs to work but they wouldnt

You have custom Stuff running on the Gameserver (Maps, Sounds, Skins)
Without Fast DL / sv_downloadurl anything will be send to Clients from the Gameserver (friggin slowly, but 100%)

Optional and recommended is Fast DL through sv_downloadurl (you know already)
But, You cannot leave out Skins or other Materials that are "nessecary" to play with on Your customized Server.

Leaving out the Skin Materials (and other custom Stuff) is a very Bad Idea, New Players on Your Server will then see the annoying fat Red Errors running around.

What Intention sticks behind that behavior not uploading the Skins??
If Your Webspace is big enough for Maps, indeed, then its good to stick the Skins on....

Technically theres no "Fallback" to the Gameserver, if anything goes "wrong" on the sv_downloadurl like missing files etc.

You MUST have the files on the download server for the clients to download.  Once you enable the download server, the clients will not download ANY content from the server.

On the basis of that then putting the files on your webspace in the correct folder structure should have worked. We tried it; wonder why it didnt work for us? Worth trying again?

I think that is more a way of compressing the files on the download server to reduce the bandwidth you use. If we can get the basics working it is worth trying but just an added complexity at present
