Quote from: Itchy;258984Your financial logic shows you have grasped the true nature of monetary relationships within matrimony. I commend you on your clear thinking, and your recognition of the dangers of inadequate risk management strategies when wishing to improve your capabilities in the area of computer based simulation and entertainment.

Oh, and welcome! See you on-line.....

It is greediness, not sneakiness :)

Let me explain:

If we reach a truce and agree that I spend £100 on a "bloody stupid teenager looking computer game", then my other half feels legitimally entitled to spend £100 on a handbag, then of course matching shoes and a new lipstickandmycoatisalready2yearsoldand... while sneaking it did cost me less.
I shudder to consider how expensive a G25 would have been if I had tried the frontal approach :2cents:

This is the system I have to use. Everything gets twice as expensive....

Oh, and thanks for posting. See you.:)

Welcome aboard Fabien...who ever you are :g:

About your name "Mille Sabords"...we had a guy called "Haddock" driving sometimes over a year ago. He is an old friend of mine but not seen him since as he got upset when LFS devs deleted the track PBs for everyone :sideways:

Lameduck

Welcome Fabien.:D
Hope to have more races soon.:boxing:

Hello & welcome.

(I'd see a doctor about the blistered barnacles, sound nasty)

Hey there Fabien. You're no stranger to us, but at least now we know where the nickname comes from! :D

Boy, reading some of you guys' posts I'm glad my girlfriend is totally okay with me playing computer/console games. Apart from one joint account we each have our own seperate bank accounts and we do with our own money what we want, as long as we pay our monthly contributions to the joint account for household purposes and the like. And I wouldn't want it any other way. I work for my money and I like to spend it on the things I like! :flirty:

A magical, nay mystical, change comes over them once the gold band is firmly attached. This comes under the same heading as 'My kids will never be allowed to do that' and 'You won't catch me staying in a job I don't like' :roflmao:

Well I'm principally against marriage so I won't be putting the gold band on anytime soon :norty:

Wipe that smile from your face... It has nothing to do with marriage
It comes with time, sneaks into your comfort with innocent looking words... ever heard of Responsibility? Partnership? Kids...
They sound OK at first, but once you let them in they sit in your armchair while you keep trying to sort it out :)

Good luck! Don't let them get close!

Only joking. But enjoy each moment of your present life :narnar:

I've been together with my girlfriend for 10 years. That's longer than many a couple who do get married nowadays. We've been living together for about half that time and all in all it's going well. She does want to get married and lots of tears have been shed over that subject but whaddayagunnado eh :)

As for kids... well... I guess I'll find out soon enough as I'm going to be a dad come April. We always agreed that we'd have children some day, but just not yet. It couldn't have come at a worse time, actually, as we're in the middle of renovating the house we bought last year, and we currently don't even have a bathroom. Not an ideal environment to take care of a newborn, but I'm sure we'll manage. There's plenty of relatives who can't wait to help out.

I never have figured out how that happens. :g:
