Plain Battlefield 2 = Allright with me
bf2 mod- Point of Existence 2 = Also allright but haven't played it yet
bf2 mod- Project Reality = Was allright haven't played the latest version
Battlefield 2142 = Allright with me
Battlefield Vietnam = Could do also, got to get my CD's back from da_Ricci though.
 
Sadako's suggestions (seem a bit pricy :flirty: but okay, 1 game please out of these);
Crysis = Isn't this going to be DX10 as in Vista?
UT3 = Seems to be due for release 28/09/2007 so could do
BioShock = Seems to be due for release 24/08/2007 so could do
COD4 = Seems to be due to release for 02/11/2007
Team Fortress 2 = Steam release as you said so could do
Left 4 Dead = Steam release as you said so could do
Survivor of LAN V, VI, VIII, IX, X, XII, XIV, XVI, XVIII, XX, XXIV, XXX, XXXII, XXXIV and XXXVI so far...

Crysis will possibly be out in time but is - as stated - a DX10 game
UT3 is a 50/50 split, the date is currently listed as 'sometime in november'
Bioshock is out and its awesome but sadly, it is not multiplayer.
COD4 - not a clue
TF2 - Should be out by the 9th on Steam or the 13th in shops (thats october, not november)
Left4Dead will have to wait till april I'm afraid as it has been put back to 2008. :doh:

As for the BF Varient I'm going to go with the Vanilla BF2 (cos its what I'm used to) and I might grab a copy of 2142 before I get there to... cos it looks good (despite what Dewey and Ranger say!! :narnar:)

BF2142? pah suck sucky long time

If you you want future combat Enemy Territory: Quake Wars blows it into the weeds - promotes team work, different skills (ie you dont' have to fight to help your side) - huge interesting maps and intense fire fights. Its also probably cheaper than the 2142 Mod at £18 delivered!

Crysis is indeed a DX10 game but if the final game resembles the beta then there is nothing stopping you running it on DX9. Only MS are stupid enough to make games "Vista Only".
