I'm in a similar boat in that our first is due next Thursday.  So any time now really... :blink:
 
Which explains why I've not been around on the servers, or signed up to any LANs recently.  I've had a sudden home improvement regime thrust upon me, and playtime has suffered as a result.  My study has been converted to a Nursery, and my home PC is currently up in the loft awaiting some space to be created for it.
 
Gaming will be on hold for the forseeable future until I become reasonably competent at the whole parenting thing, and re-decorate another bedroom to give me somewhere to put the PC.

just watch out for the complaints about new paint smells too as their olfactory senses go into overdrive aswell.

If you thought PMS was bad, watch out for the "Baby Blues", mood swings, weepy, and other symptoms. I found the best way to deal with it was to realise it was going to be short-term, and not to over react....in fact, that's about the best thing to do with most problems family-life throws at you.

you see i have three girls

1 is 4, 1 is 6 months and the other is 31

im 25 and at that special time of the month for the 31 year old i lock myself in my home office for a week (i have supplies of water and kendal mint cake (why is kendal mint cake allways what keeps people alive :S)

Just wait till the two younges ones also start having their special time of the month... If you're lucky, they'll all have it at the same time (and perhaps take it all out on eachothers), but if you're unlucky you'll end up with only one normal week each month :narnar:
You should have some years before that happen, so you better start stocking up on water and that mint cake. Perhaps enforcing the door to your home office also is a good idea :norty:

its just my luck that i will only have one normal week of the month as well..
I suppose working in sheffield im not actually to far from kendal to actually stock up.
