I do not want this to become a English Lads w/e. One of the things I was going to mention is that if we stand any chance of getting into the good clubs, we can't stand out like a bunch of ASBO winners.

But for the rest I agree with NF.
Clubbing can be done very well in Amsterdam and I've allready asked NF to help me out on this thing as he has loads of Amsterdamexperience.

Me and Fatal went over for my 40th a few weeks back and we stayed at

Pleasant enuff, was about a 10/15 min tram ride to dam square (tram no's 5, 25 or another one but i cant remember the number and its 11,50euro's for a 48hr pass for the trams)
 
Trams stop around midnight so when we were coming back later on just jumped in a taxi for about 17,50 euros total for 4 ppl or the second night we got a 7 seater and he charged us 5 euro's each.
 
It was actually quite nice staying out of town a bit (to get away from the hustle and bustle) but i belive there is another golden tulip actually right in the heart of the city (expect higher rates tho)
 
As for getting beers we got beers x 8 in Dam square and it worked out about 35-40 euros.
Walk round the corner so you're off the square and it was 20-25euros.

So, when I return fom LANs and holidays, where are you?
Me and Ninja had a PM-conversation and we reckon that after the NovemberLAN we might add the dates. Month of June is still the month to be checked as Amsterdamweekend possible.
NinjaFreak has been added to be a moderator here.
We're currently looking in appartments and so that can be rented but any good hotel tip will be checked out aswell.
A suggestion from Pen was that we'd better stick to the center of Amsterdam more.
