Great server! But 5 secs freeze is too long imo.

rofl I agree you will need the extra half second to rebuy Duvel :D. For the rest of us b62 is enough :narnar:

But what about chatting time for tactics? i.e. "You kill A and I will kill B"  One second isn't enough :boxing:

Considering it is a dedicated Deagle server with dedicated Deagle maps you don't have to buy anything. You already are equipped with Deagle and sometimes armor.

Also peeps, do not mix up freezetime and buytime. Freezetime is the amount of time (in seconds) before you can move. Buytime is for how long time (after spawning, also in seconds) you have the possibility to buy equipment or weapons in the buyzone. On most Deagle maps there isn't a buyzone so you never have to think of that.


Sure 1 second seem short, but face it. The maps are easy to learn. Tactics depend only on where your own team spawn and where the opponents spawn. I would say in the majority of the deagle maps out ther you cannot spot the enemy straight away when spawning. That limits the need and possibility to discuss any tactics until the game have actually started i.e. freeze time has ended. What I am getting at is that tactics form once you know where your enemies are.

Also, generally speaking, shorter freeze times isn't all bad. It does encourage people to get buy scripts. It would be a very interesting experiment to have 1 s buytime on MH one Friday night. :norty:

1s buytime on MH, well, atleast I'll have a decent rush on my own then unless playing with you.
A Friday ago I got a beer and when I got back I decided to see how fast people are out of spawn with buying stuff. Buyscript anyone?

We're kinda off topic now aren't we :narnar: but my next thing to learn is to manual buy whilst moving out of spawn (freezetime allowing of course).

Anyway, might be able to have a few rounds on Deagle tonight anyone?
