Oth and I will not attend to this raid I'm afraid. His laptop power supply suddenly decided to stop functioning and leaves him with no power to play wow.
He could've used my laptop as I am on the stationary, but that one is ofc on service and not due back for a few weeks. And then ofc its his old laptop, but that one has a broken GFX card.
I could always attend, but I saw you had enough DPS tonight and thought that we could use this time to do some R'n'R. Without PC stimulations :lmfao:

I bet his work will supply him with another powersupply on tuesday, or a new computer :narnar:

Good luck tonight and see you soon! :)

I\'m not crazy. My reality just differ from yours.

Sheepy appears and begins to stroke my head. According to his slurred drunken speech I am "lovely and like a fuzzy felt". Thankfully he soon leaves and passes out somewhere. [/quote]

We could have a whip round for a new pc ... :g:

I hate to say but you missed out an awful raid on ZA  .... In disgust we moved to kara and kicked its a**

Nothing ....was left alive

What happened in ZA then? What were the problems?

Talked to Sheepy and he explained tanks seemed solid, healing seemed ok (3 healers) but went oom and dps seemed slow.

ZA is one of those perverse places where less is more.  Running with 2 healers pushes the HPS requirement up, but allows more DPS in the raid so mobs go down quicker and neither healers nor dps then go oom.  Might be worth a try next time to run with just 2 healers and see if it is better - assuming as Sheepy pointed out, that you have suitable people to plug into the raid.

I can only speak for my dps but I'm lacking on + hit ... Its fine for Kara but in za after a full dot rotation only 2 would stick so I'm loosing dps and mana having to re apply

I also need to have a chat with TL or Oth about producing the WWS report so we can get a bit more detail

WWS is really simple.

When in raid, type:

/combatlog

....console should report that the combatlog is now being logged.  To turn logging off simply type /combatlog again.  This logging does not add any sort of noticeable overhead to your PC as it is data the PC already receives.

At the end of the raid go to //www.wowwebstats.com and click on the large button (with graphical cogs) that says "Start WWS Client".

When the client opens, type in the following info at the top:

WWS Login: officer@othbarty
WWS Password: SOGofficer

Click 'Add combatlog' and navigate to your C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Logs folder and select the file called Wowcombatlog.txt.

Add a note at the bottom of the client in the 'Raid comment' window to describe what the log contains, e.g. "ZA" or "Kara & first boss ZA".  You do not need to put a date in the comment as dates are contained within the log and shown on the WWS site.

Then click the Host Report... button.  The report will now be processed and uploaded.  When the upload is complete you will get an anonymous URL reported in the client window and your browser will open up a window in which the report and URL for the guild report is shown.

The guild report is the URL you use for members.  The anonymous URL is where all names have been changed so nobody can see who did what.

Personally, I then rename Wowcombatlog.txt to reflect the date of the log, so something like today's raid would be renamed to "080603 Wowcombatlog.txt".  The logs folder does not need a wowcombatlog file in it so it can be deleted if you want.  It is however sensible to start each new raid with a fresh log (by having renamed the old one) so as to avoid having to edit the log before upload.  For example, if you try to upload a log which covers raids on both Sunday and Monday then the upload will fail as it cannot process logs which span longer than 12 hours.  Hence if you forget to have renamed to deleted the old logs you will need to open the wowcombatlog.txt in notepad and simply delete all the old lines (each line starts with the date so it is kind of obvious) and then try the upload again once the log has been trimmed.

Hope this explains how to use WWS.  It really is very simple.
