You know what, that is why I'm missing so many raids, by the time I'm in from work and have got settled down, the raid is already underway

Never really thought about the EU time difference. Surely it's grounds for an invasion :narnar:

Following what hmust have been an MC Officer meeting last night, I saw Sab's post about stopping raiding until the expansion.  I have therefore quit MC and returned to SOG.

Just pie in the sky but I though I would throw this open

Are there any guilds out there that organize mixed raids .. I'm thinking some core players in wow set up a dMw guild also a raid sign up and the raiding is done by any members that apply to sign up (through the usual forum)

I do see some problems with understanding peoples level and knowledge but in time just like any other server we run they will be able to apply for the wings and get bumped to the top of the raid spots

Feel free to blow this out the water :D

Image of Tabard. (can be changed obviously)

Now that bit is done where do you want to take it.

My personal oppinion would be to use it at the minute for dMw people only to level chars and expand on it with WOTLK.

I'll move some toons over when I see someone online.  Asesinato and Eloso need a home.

Ok, we got a few toons in place and the guild is formed, I think now is the time to start formalising the strucutre and to wheel it into the public domain of the dMw community.   Pre-expansion patch is imminent (2 weeks) and the expansion is now just 6 weeks off.  Anyone got any thoughts on who, how and when?

TL.

1.  Form needs sorting to move SOG to Archive, edit menu links and text
2. Create new DMR forum sections, include what  sections we can to the public side to add value.
3.  Agree how much of the DMR forums should be public and which bits will need to be retained as private (officers, TS details etc anything else?)
4. Change SOG GMOTD advising to read announcement re DMR (I will leave a toon with SOG to retain name etc).
5. Agree personnel & strucutre for DMR (could we use something similar to the dMw structure for member ranks perhaps?)
6. Agree any transition arrangement for any SOG --> DMR transfers
7. Possibly set up a roadmap/timetable for the raid element of the guild (or should the guild be aimed at 10 man or 25 man raiding, or at any raiding at all?)
8.  AOB

Am on most of night, got a bear run for 45 mins at 21:30- server time, but can come along any other time.  For me one of the important things to set is an idea of what we want the guild to do and how fast.  Ie what level of raiding are we going for.  I think that sort of decision has a decent impact on the guild and future success.

well, I need to get my toons moved over, but it appears that whenever I'm online no one else is!

Anyway, for raiding, I'm all up for that but need to know when so I can make sure I'm free :)
