Right, looks like these are out now.

Farcry 2 - Played found linear, and it's gone slow on me since it patched itself, worth a play, I'd wait for it to drop in price a bit first if you've not already bought it.

Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 (PC) - I've not played this yet, I'll see it in action tomorrow when I get back home to Cornwall.

Dead Space (PC) - Not seen
World of warcraft: Wrath of the lich king -I don't do WoW
Call of duty: world at war - Not Seen either

Tomb Raider Underworld- This game looks great, I've only watched people playing it, but it seems to have all the fun of others.

Grand Theft Auto IV (PC)- I played this on 360 as I couldn't wait, but on PC it's even better. I use a 360 controller for driving etc, and switch to mouse for gun fights (which were the only bits I disliked) Graphics improvements are good, I'm yet to play multiplayer.

Prince of Persia - I own every one made to date. (well I had 3D and took it back to the shop because it was soooo bad). All I'm going to say is this one really didn't appeal to me. Maybe when it drops in price or something I'll give it a whirl.

Fear 2: Project Origin - Didn't like the first one, but the multiplayer beta was enjoyable.

Are you sure it's not coming to the PC? It's what they always say "no plans for a pc version". It boosts console sales and then around a year later it's released. Things like GTA 4 are perfect examples. Halo again....but on a longer time scale. They milk the console owners for a little bit more money and then they give PC gamers a version with a few of the problems ironed out and slightly better graphics (DX10 etc) everyone wins (except the impatient).

I bought Fallout 3 and RA 3 before Wrath came out. Didn't manage to complete Fallout before the release of Wrath, and since that came out i've not touched anything else (though I have now got to 80 so that might change soon). I need to complete Fallout, then try RA 3. I've played the first few levels of it, and it seems OK. Good old fashioned RA humour and gameplay. I must admit i'm not so keen on the 'cartoony' art style though. I much preferred the original RA to either 2 or 3, cos the original, despite being much lower quality in terms of graphics, still had that 'realistic' look, instead of being all cartoony with black outlines around stuff and bright primary colours for everything and the like.

I'm also not convinced I like the idea of having set mining points, instead of just ore spread across the terrain.

yeap its true this time, last time they named the pc release the same time as the 360 version, the pc version came out a bit later due to added content, but the game was hit by the pirates and gearbox have said that due to this they will not make gow2 for the pc, a real shame as i was really looking forward to this on the pc, i will have to get it for my 360 instead.

Any1 know any release information on Dawn of War 2 and Starcraft 2? DW2 is out Feb i believe but Starcraft seems still heavily delayed, even though it looked completed a year ago.....

There's a big difference between 'engine complete' and 'level design complete'. What we've seen looks ready to release, but it might be that everything we've seen is in the 2 or 3 test levels they got set up to demo and test and the shinies in the game. Also, given that the focus will be heavily on multiplayer, they'll have to spend ages after the game is feature complete balancing it before it's ready for release.

Also, I recall seeing in an interview that the single player campaigns for each race are about 30 levels long each, rather than the more common 5-10, so as a result Blizzard are release 3 Starcraft IIs, each one with one of the single player campaigns in it, but the whole multiplayer game. I don't know if they'll all come out at the same time or if they'll stagger it so they release the one they have completed, with multiplayer, then work on the other 2 and release them each a few months later.
