I thought Knights of the old republic was awesome, knights 2 was so so, but now! (drum roll) http://www.swtor.com/

The Sacking of Coruscant. It was the crowning achievement of the Sith Empire’s ambitious military strategy and the moment that changed the history of the Old Republic forever. You may have read about it before, but our first cinematic trailer captures this event with breathtaking action and beautiful detail.

Republic leaders have traveled to Alderaan to engage in promised peace talks with the Sith Empire. The most powerful Jedi have accompanied them to safeguard against an Imperial deception. The Empire’s real motive, however, was simply to lure the Republic’s strongest defenders away from Coruscant and set the stage for an audacious attack. Under the command of Lord Angral, the Sith fleet approaches the Republic’s capital planet for the first time in centuries. In advance of the fleet, the strongest Sith Warriors have flown a stolen Republic ship into Coruscant’s orbit. Their mission is critical â€" to destroy the planet’s defense grid mainframe hidden in the heart of the Jedi Temple.

I've been trying to sign up for the beta, but the website keeps failing on me.

Yeah ahppened to me then it did final scan, but it only picked up the one of my Sli:( emailed them to fix it :)

I couldn't even register for an account on the site :( I have a hotmail address that I use for things like this, and they already know they've got issues with hotmail and yahoo from their FAQ. Bet it turns out their reverse DNS doesn't match their MX, that always seems to be the issue with hotmail when i'm not getting stuff.

I got as far as the scan, then it booted me out and back to the first screen again. Bugger.

I had a bit of problem with signing up too, finally finished the bits it wouldn't let me do from within my profile, might be worth a try if your having problems with it too.

i got an offer to join the beta from them cos im a member of the site and have been for a while but rubbish uni connection is fail so i cant play :(

I was a big fan of the deeply-flawed-yet-on-the-brink-of-awesome Star Wars Galaxies, this looks like the Star Wars MMO I've been waiting for!
