StableX

Quote from: Deetz;2499381st up is Celtic, crunch, but lightly, no damage, no problem. Then I catch StableX, he is very defensive, and as I'm just coasting into a turn behind him, he gets a little out of control,  **** BRAKE, so I tap him into a spin. I wait for him to recover which seems to take ages, with half the field driving by.

Off we go again. More defensive driving from StableX means its a couple of laps before I get past, an enjoyable battle but costly in time.

Sorry mate, I was under team orders. Boogle was shouting at me in vent to go defensive and give him a little time. Of course, I tried to fight your case but with his Barry White assertive tone, while quoting, "You're The First, The Last, My Everything", I crumbled and took the defensive line! :taz:

Really good race and nice to see so many finishers too. The BF1 will be excellent I think..... :)

Frapped for you.

I watched the replay again and realised just how wrong deetz's comments are and due to recent events with the admin and my "failure to make dmr due to my bad temperament" cough :) I would like to defend the occasion and hopefully shed some light on the propaganda and in some cases pure bull$hit said about me.

I have frapped the deetz/john moment for all to see, its quite funny at the tbh, I hope deetz you can see that to and see I'm only defending myself and I will do in future as the gloves are off LOL

I will always defend myself as I now feel it is needed but I will always do it in "Clean Fair Fun" as the dmr logo says. hhhm

Peace friends, Johnny.

P.S i Mean that, "my mates" if you excuse the pun ;)

looks like a racing incident to me :norty:

A disappointing race for me, again. I really need more practice before races. This way I only get myself frustrated.

I was quite happy with my qualification performance. The race started also well, I'm talking about T1, but we had an accident with BigFatCat before the end of the first lap. We both could have done a bit better to avoid it. I could have left BFC a bit more room to let him take the corner, so I only blame myself sticking to my line so early in the race.

Soon I was chasing CrazyR1, like many times before, and it was great fun. At about 30 minutes I finally got to close enough to try something. That something turned out to be something else than I had expected. I felt I was there only physically, not in spirit like Lameduck. I started going wide in the corners and did not really have any consistency anymore. I hit the wall twice and then went wide into the grass in the last corner. There was nothing left for me to do. My throat was sore and I could not speak a word so I just left.

But I always try to see positives. Seany has been in a good form recently, though this was not your race. Looks like I need to work hard in the coming combos to be able to fight you again. I'm gonna accept the challenge. :D Christmas is getting closer and I sense that it might bring me a shifter. Also in the coming weeks I'm going to work with my cockpit a bit, to improve driving position and put small wheels under it. Oh, and I have to put together my G25 with 4 buttons on the wheel. Sweet.

F1?
F1 at Westhill? :g:

A cockpit with wheels on it? That's realism for ya! :D

It's in a very tight space. Because of triple display setting I have to have it a bit off of the wall. With small wheels under I could push it against the wall when not in use.

So it was not what you thought, but I like your idea!

Yes. Cars usually have wheels, don't ya know?

My qualifying was bit hard. Could not quite get the speed I had had during the few days. Only at the very last lap I managed to climb a bit. Anyway the starting place was good enough for me certainly.

Started with 50% fuel and decided to make a stop halfway.

In the beginning I tryed to stay with the hot shots, but they were simply too fast for me in that fuel load at least. If I tryed to increase speed my lines started to go bad and tyres heat up and locking. There was lot of race left so didn't try to go faster than my limit.

I had constantly problems in the slow corners after the 1st split. Especially the corner coming to the long downhill part. At lap 2 I lost grip in the rear end and wobbled heavily. Unfortunately Gnomie got the corner much better and hit my rear end. Sorry for that again. If you said it happened so fast you couldn't react, so was the situation here too. I thought it was racing, so I decided not to wait after some thinking. I did have a slight moral hangover  throughout the whole race anyway. Sadly, Gnomie dropped down as he spinned I guess.

I was driving comforably and tryed not to lock wheels. Then little before 30 mins I spotted some orange triangle closing in the map...quick glance at the time table...oh my, Gnomie is closing fast! I had to find some more speed. Gnomie pitted around 30 min mark too, but before me. I decided to do few more fast laps that I manage to come back to track ahead of him after my pit stop. Grease monkeys changed my front left tyre and added 42% more fuel. I managed to come out of the pit little ahead of Gnomie.

I had a fight great with Gnomie for the rest of the race. We did very close same lap times and some mistakes here and there changed the gap constantly to some direction. I had still problems in the slow corners, but IIRC it was the last chicane before the start line, I made a mistake and Gnomie got past me. It seemed for a while he would get aways from me. Then something happened at the right corner at the bottom of the downhill (IIRC). To me it seemed that he was sliding slightly after losing some of the rear end. I attacked on the outside getting past. If there was a yellow flag I didn't notice it. Have to check.

Great race and I was happy I was able to drive FZR on this track. :woot2:

BigFatCat

/me holds hand up.
I did have a nibble at Romus at T4, I was a way back but stuck my nose hopefully up the inside and couldn't brake to avoid him as he came across.

Then I found my true form and blew a tyre 3 inches past the pits, deranging the suspension so I spent some time in the pits, redecorating the lounge and writing my Xmas list while I waited. I was left about 3 weeks behind everyone else so kept myself awake by being lapped, blue is such a peaceful colour.

Overall?

Hiya lads, how are yall doing here ?? :D

I had a rather strange race. I qualied somewhere in the midfiels. Not sure were to be precise. But for some reason I was put at the back near moossie. As the racer I am i was gonna give him a run for his money. :lmfao:. Well only thing i did see was a backfiring CR FZR taking over other cars like they were standing still.

Since I used the same pit tactics as Obsolum I did take some places but kinda stopped for me around the 10th place. The gap between me and nr11 (dont know the name changed a lot of names during race) was so big i could easily pit changed my tires and took some fuel.
After that it was downhill quickly. Dont know what happend but the lapetimes droppped like a fly.

Gap was still big enough for me to bring the car home in 10th place. Thanks for racing was a nice race. Bit boring doing all these laps alone. :crying:

And for the crap (excuse me) thats I guess is what racing is about. Sometime you win sometimes you loose. Unless your Moose :yahoo::yahoo:

Doorman

Having checked the replay I hereby declare the I, dMrDoorman did impinge on the line of dMrSeany whilst I was exiting the pits, causing him dire consequences, to wit, a crash! Sorry Sean. :vsorry:

Celtic100

Sorry Deetz but I was nursing a **** poor set for the whole race and with 55% fuel the back end was very snappy as you witnessed unfortunately on two occasions :g: BTW it was the same set I was racing on sunday which was fine with 20% fuel running consistant 2.39's but loaded up I was driving a ****ed up pig :eyebrow:

Remind me next time to do a trial run with a fuel load
