Seems to be reasonable changes, but for these two:

All mounts are accessible to all races - personally I liked each race having it's own mounts.  They gave them character :(

And now flasks no longer need an alchemy lab - which makes them glorified pots now.  Way to nerf their value...

Each race still does have it's own mounts. As I understand it you will still have to grind exalted rep with the faction in question before you are able to buy their mount, it just means that where before even if (to pull an example out the air) a Tauren ground exalted with Undercity they wouldn't be able to get the Undead horse mount, because they could only ride the Orc wolf or the Tauren kodo, now they will be able to buy and use that mount if they have the rep. Mounts will also still only be available within a faction, so no Tauren on Mechanostriders.

Correct me if i'm wrong. It has been known to happen ;)

I don't see how this nerfs their value at all. It's not like alchemy labs are something you have to work to access. They *used* to be, pre-BC, because the only ones available were in BWL and Scholo, but when BC came out there was an alchemy lab right there in the Lower City in Shatt, so anyone could get to it easily and the hard part became getting the mats for the flasks. I guess at that point the value probably got nerfed a fair bit. But with Wrath it's pointless forcing Alchemists to go back to Shatt just to make flasks, becuase it's not *hard*, it just wastes time. Blizz just decided that instead of making another lab in Dalaran they'd remove the need for them. In terms of difficulty for the player the two are more or less the same, it's just that one wastes a lot of the Alchemist's time pretty pointlessly.

Also, is this not already in? I've been making Flasks without being near lab ever since Wrath came out and I learnt my first new Flask recipe, and it just didn't occur to me that it was odd cos it had been so long since I made the last one I forgot I needed an alchemy lab before.

Correct, you can make flasks without an alchemy lab already.

As long as elves can still grind rep with Ironforge and ride ram's I will be happy. I doubt there is anything that looks quite so stupid and utterly 'un-cool' as an elf on a ram. I salute Blizzard for allowing this and salute the misguided idioys who feel compelled to do it. Thankyou.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

This doesn't change anything except Taurens being able to ride Raptors and all of alliance being able to ride Mechanostriders =) Crossfaction mounts are still unavailable and you'll still need the rep to get mounts of other factions afaik.

Obvious reason why Blizz did this is to facilitate 50/100 mounts achievements for races other than gnomes, as gnomes would have 7 (I think) easy bonus mounts (and sorta the same story for taurens on Horde side, just the other way around).
or Garrit, or Torgen. Also, Livestream.
