Quote from: Snokio;291986Actually, the reflective TW/TK is great idea, and works wonders on other servers I have been on. I believe it can be switched on via Rcon
Yup, just looked and there's an optiion under Friendly fire in "server general" tab.

Do we have a new problem with FF. If players are going out just to TK then ban them. I know i can kill more than my fair share of my own team on a bad day. I have played using reflective and for me it leads to both getting killed. as when I fire a shot if I get wounded back, it leads me to think I am under fire.

Blunt

No Armi, just accidental/careless:doh:

It's 100% reflective as far as I'm aware, so whoever you shoot/nade on your side, you get 100% of the damage caused, not seen any attentional TW/TK, but I think some people are being too careless (especially with nades and tubes)

Apparently I actually exist! Or maybe it was the drink?

From what I see it has been accidental.  But it has ramped up a hell of a lot recently.

Ok once in a while or even a round but, recently it can feel that the opperstion team has hired one or two of your own to help them.

I know we all have bad days, but I do feel this is something else.

Ok, can someone just fix this speccing thing cos its so hard pinning the guys who nadespam, spawnkills, fraghunts, glitchuse and all that frikkin jazz! I am so tired of having to see indications of rulebreaking and cant do anything about it cos we dont get proof! I am fed up by it and dont understand why we cant have it, as its a very easy way to sort out the admining, and thats how we can pin the guys that are hazy.

I know alot of players who seem to do some dodgy stuff and I'd love to see what they really do!
Have had enough of this, and I want to see something about this speccingthing sorted, either way!

I\'m not crazy. My reality just differ from yours.

Aye, it was horrendous tonight :(

I had several phone calls tonight and had to go spec so I missed most of the nonsense:sideways:
the only thing I noted was origin spawn sniping on Bog. Boon commented and he apologised immediately.

I totally and agree.

Tonight was a joke.

I'm know I'm an interloper here but is there a way to:

1. Only have maps that do'nt have just random spawnpoints. That should reduce the spawnkilling?

2. Turn on Specc'ing - We have to cause frankly it's a joke the way it is

3. the Admins need to be able to sort out the wall spammers and nade spammers. I know we lost people tonight because of it.

We're trying to get new members and it'd be nice to keep the ones we have.  IMO we should do anything which makes it a better game.

I have to say that it was probably the worse evening of gameplay that I've ever had at dMw and that's saying something 7 years in

Blunt

Perhaps we could add a console message "No Grenade spamming"?
Although, a lot of people don't know the expression.
Maybe there's another, more eloquent way to convey the desired memorandum....Penfold?
:winkiss:

Don't ask my mate. I'm still reeling from a godawful night on dMw. The way I'm feeling now my carefully-crafted wordage wouldn't get past the swear filter

Words are not enough
We have words and it doesn't stop the bunnyhopping.
People are warned but it still happens.

You need to be able to spec and kick and you need maps with proper spawn points. Simples.

As I said Pen, I missed a lot of it, or was on the team that was dishing it out.
The trouble is, even if you're on the same side as a rule pusher, you can't easily tell what's going on unless you're dead and speccing.
I'm sorry to hear it was that bad:sad:
