Thanks Ron, I did consider joining GPC but they race on a Friday night and I'm always going to be down the pub then :D
That's why I like our Wednesday meets.

Looking at the GPC supported tracks page - http://gpchampionship.com/gpcos/championship.php?type=tracks&menu=home
they appear to have loads of tracks for nk that I wasn't aware were out. Such as Donnington, Brands, Zandvoort and Dijon.
Is this right? If so how do we get hold of these tracks, anyone know what the score is here????

Quote from: XLR8;270850Here's another vid from Prato Short of a high speed chase between me and Paolo Sala racing last night. You can see the different lines we take even though the lap times were almost identical. The two flying lap times were in the high 1-24s which is top ten stuff on nkrank, not bad considering we were racing for position. However I know where I can make up some tenths now after watching his lines in Sector 1 :)

This looks like much better quality (if you hit the HQ button) after I googled the rendering options for Vegas and am using the WMV9 format now.

I take about the same racing line as sala, but what i noticed is that you (in you're previous video) brake way later then me. Could you make a video with the gas/brake/force feedback clipping graph on (i think you have to push F7 when racing) it looks like you're trail braking very well... something i haven't mastered obviously

ps. i really like your video's :yahoo: and i also had quite some problems with uploading good quality to youtube and haven't found a good solution for it :(

Thanks Katsu, I'll try and do something including the feedback graphs, but it won't be this week. With this good weather we're having I'm going to be out mountain biking as much as possible. Then it's my birthday at the weekend and I'll be very drunk, then very ill :dribble:

As for trail braking, I used to use it in GTR but not so much in nK. The engines in the FF's produce quite a bit of braking force as you change down, so I have the brake bias heavily towards the front so as not to lock the rear. It seems to work for me.

Re: the videos formats, I googled it and the advice I found was to use the WMV9 format. The last video above (3 laps) was done using that format so if you like it try that?

Thanks for the tips, I will try to fiddle around with the brake bias... who knows maybe it gonna help a little bit :)

Interesting.  What do you call heavily towards the front?

In the F2000 last night i was using 55% Front(much further back than i used to..i always had 62-65 % front in the old days) combined with 70% brake multiplier.  I trail brake all the time.  It's a habit i cant get out of :)

XLR8

Hmm maybe not that different then. I had 58% bias and 90% multiplier.

Where you guys drive with F1800? Just "own" practise or in some league/special event, etc.? I maybe would like to participate someday too..

Doorman

We ran F1800s one week on our server. How come you missed that? :)

Mark, so that's what I look like without my frock on! And nothing wrong with collision detection there eh?

I agree with everything the guy said.....:roflmao:

That looks great! I might actually consider buying nKP if they release the Abarth. Although it probably wouldn't be for the first couple of months, as I can hardly seem to find time to race LFS anymore

I had a normal Fiat 500 for a couple of months (company car) and I absolutely friggin' loved it. It's an awesome little car. If I had the money and didn't have to worry about practicality (I'm a dad now, didn't you know!) I'd definitely consider buying one.
