I have been asked to put up a post outlining the loot rules that we use as a raid group.

So here it is.

Loot is rolled for using a simple /roll

when you have one piece of loot for a particular raid/lockout (dependant on current situation) then you will drop to the bottom of the q for main spec'd people for loot for the raid/lockout.

It is VERY encouraged to take a team view to the loot - ie if it is a huge upgrade for someone and not as large upgrade for you, and you decide to pass to them it is very much appreciated.

loot priority is

MAIN toon MAIN spec
--------------
MAIN toon 2ND spec
--------------
ALT

**************The Council reserves the right to over turn any loot rolls if we feel it is in the best intrest of the guild.*********************** :D

Recipies will be dished out 1st and foremost on officer discretion (the person who gets it will be more than happy to help out by making it for you if you want it!) - this is for recipies that can be used to make other people things.

just an oppinion , maybe you should make end bosses loot ( malygos and KT 25 especially more valuable , dunno maybe make it count like 2 normal items , because many players wait for weeks , maybe months for something to drop at these bosses and sometimes we could down both of them in one day and it would be unfair for someone to get one item from each boss). I know it's a rare case but it can happen , happened to me once , and it wouldn't be fair for the other players imo , altho they received loot in that night.

TeaLeaf

Difficult to argue that i226 loot is not worth more than i213 loot, but it is not worth double.  And that makes the idea difficult to implement imo, especially as i219 loot is the new standard pug item and i226 is bested by the new Ulduar25 loot.

it is all taken in to consideration by officers  - ie the clause that says that officers can over rule summin - eg if a member has been raiding for ages for a certain piece of loot we will not be giving it to someone that only raids occasionally

..... for example when garrit got his shield from KT, that loots was never going anywhere else as we were well aware from the trouser accident that happend to him when it dropped that he was really wanting it.

If i've understood well, we are using the Suicide Kings loot sistem. I personally really love this sistem. But, if i've understood well, you reset the list for every run we do isn't it?. What about keeping the list saved  through the runs?
It's just an idea; in this way a rare loot will be rolled by most active raiders, while casual ones are anyway happy to get something else, something that active raiders already got, or don't really need. Maybe it's not easy to keep the list saved but there should be some kind of addon downloadable i think.

I've found an addon that seams to works fine...if you are interested and want to try it.

SKG ---- Suicide King Geo

I think you can save the list throught the runs, so we can avoid the problem in which someone wins a loot every run and someone else never win anything for many runs. Just a way to split loots as much as possible between players.

TeaLeaf

I think they already monitor this through other addons Pilus, but I'm sure they'll take a look at it if it is needed.  Thanks for the info!
