ok we have quite a few peeps annoyed bout these runs for a few reasons i have been told :

1. They arent on the calender so they dont know they can apply ( but that just means they arent looking on forums )

2. Jim seems to be picking a favourite 10 peeps

3. Jim is incharge of them and seems peoples noses are being put out of joint because they think he is going for officer or raid leader .

4. the constant come on guild progression comments and the sulking in guild chat  and the constent whispering to people saying they have ruined his evening etc ( me and smite had this last night we werent whispered it was just said in guild chat) .

5. apparently it is also being mentioned in guild chat the officers are on but not helping out by him aswell .

so far i know of sithy ,spiritus amethyst and troubledsoul but there are more that are unhappy bout it .

Well, 10 mans are NOT official dMr runs as it says in guild info so anyone can run them. It just happens to be Jim that has stepped up.

I've not been about for any of the comments, but any attitude problems to need to be nipped in the bud before they can spread and others start thinking it's ok to say these things.

Simplest way is to drop him a PM as he is active on the forums.

Finally, as for people not knowing, then tough as it's clearly visible on the forums and a part of being a dMr member is to be an active member of the dMw community which is centered around the forums!

Precisely the answer I would have given.

sheepy

if people moan that they do not know about them point them to the forums -

exact sentiments of posted above.

but if he is having a go at people then we do need to have alittle word with him

Sheepy appears and begins to stroke my head. According to his slurred drunken speech I am "lovely and like a fuzzy felt". Thankfully he soon leaves and passes out somewhere. [/quote]

Yeah i agree.

In short our members should no that we do not organise 10 man runs period hence why any officers online are not helping.

Not only that but from personal experiance the kinda thanks you get for helping jim doesnt warrant the effort. Hes been very much take lately apart from this new stepping up for erm like "chief of ten mans" role hes assigned himself.

I know hes desperate for an officer postion and fathoms many ideas on how he can get in for example

Master master looter
Chief of ten mans

But nope i agree his constant moaning and whining is beginning to wear a lot of peoples patience thin. Comments like thanks for ruining my night / wasting my evening dont help anyone.

Lets monitor this one and perhaps re-itterate that the 10man runs are not official runs and many officers (myself included ) cant be around friday nights to supervise the evenings ongoings.

As for picking his favourite people from what i can see jim is just picking those that can be asked to sign up on the forum posts he creates. Making those of us who are "established" and active members appear the favourites.

just my 2cents

With regards to favorites being picked i think its more a case of picking the people with the most realistic chance of actually having the required dps/healing/hp to even have a chance to progress - seems reasonable !

smite

An officer if in the raid should try and run it. My 2 cents.

Jim is annoying and doesnt really care what he says until brought up on it.
After his comment on friday that myself and Merkwin were responsible for stopping guild progression i told him he wasnt making any friends. He replied with joke.

I could say Jim your a Twat.....joke. but wouldnt....it should go both ways.

As for why i didnt want to drop out of an heroic to help guild progression. It was friday and have for the last 10-12 years done something fun on a friday night with Jas or Squ0nk....it aint going to change.

Jim wanting to be an Officer? Not while my **** runs wet.

This is a strong subject for me as in quite a few of the guilds i have been in Jim has followed and i have had to hold his hand, wipe his arse and deal with pathetic issues and tbh getting bored of it. Baby sitter duty is over.

erm best say
/Rant mode off

On a positive for him he knows tactics and guided people well on thursday night. When he grows up and stops spitting his dummy he will be a valuable member.

smite

I love the way i can close a topic :P

Feel free to carry on as i am only one view.

TeaLeaf

I'm not entirely convinced that you are on your own Smite. :p
