Please don't make this a typical rFactor race for content. Lets pick a few good tracks and stick to them.

If I'm going to have to fiddle every day to be sure I have what I need, then  I'm out.

I don't understand what you mean. Fiddle?

Find out what tracks I don't have, locate it, download, install, test ... fiddle... :)

Go to DMR downloads, download, install.  Took me all of 60 seconds, its really not that much of a hassle:g:

It is if you have to do it everyday or multiple times a day as Ron keeps adding tracks, though. I'm not whining, but I can see Vobler's point.

On a related note, which track is currently running? In the server list it says Rouen, but I don't seem to have that in my Locations folder, and I don't see it available for download on the server, either. What am I missing? I keep getting disconnected with an error "could not find track" or something along those lines.

It seems to me I'm the one who's doing all the fiddling. I locate the track, I download it, try it to see if it comes up to scratch, install it on the server, test it, zip it up, upload it to our downloads, make a post about it...with instructions and then wait for a :thumbsup2:

But I do all this because I love you all.

And we love you, Ron :D

EDIT: rFactor doesn't seem to like me ALT+TAB'ing out of it

Figures. I didn't download the last 2 files so of course you just had to run one of those on the server when I tried to connect... :narnar:

No it doesn't and it won't let the Windows key have a look in either. I tried running in a window but...yeugh!

Doorman

Oh, while I'm on a roll. There are at least 587 tracks available for rFactor not including the default tracks. I have 12 in the rotation. Not exactly overkill eh? :sideways:
Now, let's just enjoy. Please. :)

Alt tab chrash is a known problem with this mod. It was thesame in GTL, and it was "ported" to rF as well. You may guess the modders themself aren't sure what is cousing it.

Goodwood is available at the local source. Read the readme. :)

 Some more cracking races, this time in a mix of cars. But I have officially now fallen in love with the Cortina   , a simply sublime chassis balance.

There appears to be a Ford theme going on with me at the moment, but I'm sure I'll find other makes I like. :thumb:
