All that I have read so far sounds good. I have just bought the game though steam and it's downloading now.
 
Will I get access to the game on the 21st or will I have to wait untill the 25th?

I believe we can create our characters tomorrow with our chosen names, then play on the 25th when it all goes live.

21:00 pm, Amsterdam (and rest of Holland) will be able to start creating up to 2 characters.
You can create the other 6 at pre(lauch) or after (you'll only get 8 characters, so you can play all classes without deleting

For all that played beta, remember to switch your beta account to normal via NCsoft Master Account.
Don't know how to do it, as I already have it on non-beta.

Nope, for those that have preordered, you can create your characters TONIGHT*, and start playing on the 20th.

*provided you download the 600Mb+ patch in time...

I think I downloaded that yesterday together with the game.

Downloaded the patch with 13 mb/s  fastest download ever! (for me that is)

1. Log into NCsoft Account Management.
2. Click the Game Accounts link.
3. Choose your Aion game account listed on the Game Accounts page.
4. Click the Apply In-Game Items link in the Actions section.
5. Select the server your preferred character is on and click the Next button.
6. Select the character you wish to receive the items and click the Next button.
7. You will then see a list of all the items or item packs that may be applied to that character. Click the checkbox next to the item pack(s) you wish to apply to that character and then click the Next button.
8. Review the confirmation page and then click the Apply the Items/Item Packs to this Character button.
You will then get a message saying that the items/item packs were successfully given to that character. You should have these items when you log into the game - simply pay a visit to your in-game mail box.

Assuming you can actually get in to set up the character, which at the moment I cannot.  My Aion (North America) just sits at the login screen with no response and then kicks me out.

hm, did anyone else notice that they're acount was standard after purposely putting a CE code on it... says i have a standard account and cant preselect T_T

I have the same via Steam.  Hopefully it will change soon as the items you get from having CE only apply for the headstart period.

Except I only have English selected and only downloaded English langauge. Says im in Europe on Master account but in NCsoft it says North America...
