If I need to install COD4 also on my work PC (assuming it will run it), how do I do it? Do I install Steam there and choose to DL it? Can I DL only the multiplayer? Is there a way to install it from a friend's CD and use a certain cdkey which Steam uses (if such can be found anywhere)?
(if the tourney will start too late, I will have to play it in the office)

If you own the steam version copy the directory for CoD onto disk/pendrive. Take it into work. Install steam. Close steam, copy folder across. Open steam up and it should just need a quick validate and you'll be ready to get playing. It's really fast. You have to copy the whole folder across or it'll download the missing parts.

That's pretty much it. It's also best to delete the client.blob file or you may have issues when you first load steam.

This is the one thing I love most about steam. The ability to just take the entire folder and move to a new computer. No install routine, no hassle :D

Seems like my office PC barely passes the minimum reqs, so I'll give it a shoot.
