No long winded review from me

Just wanted to say thanks to Andy, Ed and Willi for some of the best racing I have had in ages.  That first half hour was something else.  Had a look at the replay, good stuff.

I would also like to say sorry for lap 16 when I rear ended Andy at T1 and then cost Ed a place by bumbling my way back to the racing line :doh:.  I must say though at one point it must have felt to Andy like we where all lining up, taking turns to give him a bump

Unfortunate you had to leave us Andy :sad:.  But still, was most enjoyable racing while it lasted.

Apologies to: Dee for tap L1 (1st left turn) which did him little damage but sent me squirming in front of Spud, Oldie and Somebody.
To Ben for the slightest of taps on the right-hander after the descent which had him facing the wall like a naughty boy. Managed to miss everyone after that :yahoo:
Steadily moved up the field, by default as others gave up the ghost or had to leave. By 50 mins I was 5th, 30 secs behind Dee and 30 sec in front of Somebody and had managed to keep it off the walls. V little damage. Lapse of concentration, hello wall and suddenly losing 5-6 secs a lap but managed to nurse it home with the gap down to 10sec.
Watched the replay - fantastic race between Andy, Sean, Ed and Willi and congratz to the old smoothie Deetz for a brilliant drive. :yahoo:

errh also managed to turn all updates off, so no more black screens.

Yeah Sean, that pack of 4 for half an hour was the best fun.  Tight pack did lead to a few chain reaction bumps.....but none I saw had any real effect.

My big mistake(s) was not learning (and not learning again) ......  During the first 35 minutes I had tapped the wall exiting the middle chicane onto the left sweeper - just going wide.  Two taps was enough to impair my right front susp severely limiting my left turns.  Sad part is that same thing had happened in a previous hour race .... I knew how easy it was to disable your car with minor taps here.  So pitted and repaired damage.  Within a few laps I hit the same spot 2 more times and had to pit repair again and this time got a drive-thru penalty :doh:

Exited the pits a few secs behind Deetz (who had lapped me then).  Found I was gaining on him ...... setting the race fast lap.  Had to slow down for a few laps .... didn't want to perturb the leader :flirty: then gave the fast lap another couple shots but couldn't pull it off.  Somebody slowed to a crawl to let Deetz by safely with just a couple minutes left .... allowing me a chance to possibly catch him and not end up in last place.  Fun finish but Somebody managed to hold me off ....

I know I've said it before - I really need to work on my race-craft!!  Just can't make the same mistakes over and over.  Fast lap and last place .......

But it was a fun race all the way ..... training the first 30 minutes, followed by open field hotlapping, and closed with a challenging pursuit to the finish

What a race:)Was speaking to Spudgun early in the evening & said quali would be important this week then i go & get 2nd!!!!!Best quali ever:yahoo:
Race started well but got moved down to 3rd by Wii but soon grabbed 2nd back & started racing for my life while still trying to keep my tyres cool.
Most of the race i spent looking in my mirror as Wii,Seany & somebody kept getting bigger & smaller:g:I think this is the best race i have ever had great fun.Seany nudged me going into T1 which put me sideways but no damage done(things like that happen thats what makes good racing:))
Went in the pits with Seany & we both had a good stop & came out fighting,did a few more laps having a great race with Seany then one of the kids was ill everywhere so i had to make a quick exit:doh:
