Who are you?Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do? What's your situation at home like?

My name is james Byrne i am from westyorkshire in the dewsbury area (if you dont know it just think shannon mathews am near there) i currently attend college full time 4 days a week (two half days wednesday and friday) as well as having a saturday job at greggs the bakers (i generally finish at 5PM british time), my home situation is 100% alright, i have free reign where computer and personal time are concerned in that i wont be forced off or anything all i ask is that i be off in time for at least 4 hours sleep before college so i may get up

What kind of internet connection do you have?

i currently have a 20MB connection with virgin, 0 lag issues within 25man raids and no connection errors experienced what so ever (except the odd WoW error caused by an out of date addon i forgot to fix)

What are the core specs of your computer?

4GB RAM, Latest ADI graphics gaming card, Quad core processor can take anything up to 40man or even three fourty man raids at a time (PVP battle in ogrimarr dont ask :narnar:)

How long have you been playing computer ames and what kind?

I have been playing computer games for the better part of thirteen years, i play online MMORPG's, RTS games, first person and third person shooters and anything action based as well as builder type games such as civilizations

What kind of raiding experience do you have?

i have raid experience of Naxx 10/25 (completed) OS 10/25 (completed),  VoA 10/25 (completed), Onyxia 10 (in complete however having completed the original i know the tactics and what is required) EOE 10/25 (10 completed 25 wiped due to lack of dragon dots and poor raid coordination) Uldaur 10/25 (only the first few bosses due to my previous guild having favourites within the guild constantly raiding) ToC 10/25 (10 completed 25 completed up to anub'arak) Ice Crown Citadel 10/25 (10 completed 25 not attempted due to lack of intrest and cohesion within the guild)

Previous TBC raids my progress was only limited to Karazhan (completed) and in the original WoW my raid experience was MC, ZG and UBRS (completed) due to my original guild disbanding shortly after

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?

Furions (disbanded) Wee People United (only a causal player at the time) Kaldorie (my current guild of which i am still apart, i wish to move on due to a reigiem change that has taken place recently effectivly making the guild have an elite raid group instead of changing members often, which is the main reason i pay for the game, to get the most out of it (i am not however as u said a rock headed raider)

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?

Yes, a rogue named Ceglar, a Deathknight called Dadoctor and a paladin called Gingercrumbs as well as a 71 shaman called Veleasa which i intend to make a raid healer once finished

Why did you decide to play this class?

Im not a man who (originally) enjoyed multiple roles within a group, i didnt like healing or the idea of cloth armour, i liked the sound of a big burly thing that could walk in with an axe, chop some guy up, then walk away for a beer, to be blunt i liked the sound a shear force person, no questions asked

What do you think your class' role is in raid content?

At current my main role has been one of DPS due to the amount i can inflict   (5-7K depending on the mob/boss and CD ETC), however i am gearing to become a tank or replacment tank should the need arise, however since DPS specs were made viable again id say warriors roles are that of tanking/DPSing

Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)

Alot of questions, hmm, well my build is designed to maximise the output of the titan wield fury spec (my own personal mix up) allowing me to focus on singular targets (bloodthirst, slap Proc, Heroic strike, Heroc throw ETC) or on multiple enemies at the same time as some bosses require (Cleave, WW ETC), i chose this spec due to my time as playing a fury warrior in TBC, i did try out arms however i found the combat to be dull and slow as well as the rediculous CD of the main AoE ability to be stupid beyond cause, i chose to Pursue fury also in that it allowed me to more easily attain stats required for it (also i seem to be alot better DPSing as fury then as arms on signular and multiple enemies) i chose my personal build however as it represented what i was looking to do (high AP, High crit, with speed and CD included)

What do you look for in a guild?

Social, generally nice people who are willing to help others as well as to attempt difficult content without losing the trust and confidence of there guild members by shouting or being execcivly abusive

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?

aside from a marilyn manson CD cover i once saw? i generally think its a cool sounding name although a little miss leading (implying ure dead alot) and it generally maked me think you guys must know what your doing (as you are discussed often)

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?

Due to recommendations from some of your current guildies and that none of them have made progress in the area's that i would like to (except yourselves)

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?

Trace, Claiire and Boonity (spirit, chabala or what ever Boo name she goes by now) from Kaldorie, Claiire and boo directed me to the application page and how to apply and if asked (claiire would probably give a more accurate update then boo) can vouch for my raid ability and damage

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?

I have and i think they are well thought out and lay out specifically what you are after in a person as well as what you will do in a return which most guilds when joined to not highly elaborate upon enough.


Annoying questions

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
Cake or Pie?

Depending upon the extend of the offence, if it was something slight i will probably just ignore them however if something major (for example wisper spamming offensive insults) then i would report it to a senior officer and hope they would deal with the individual

its got to be the cake every time, although if its a chicken and leak pie  i may be swayed
