1st Time in a Raid

Hmmm...so there I was, a Boomkin about town. Strolling the fair streets of Dalaran, just getting a bit of fresh air and some TLC for my blue armour (with a bit of violet around the edges); then a Guildmate invites me to a party. "OK", I though, "why not? It's a Guildmate; I trust him."

Sudenly I found myself in Ice Crown, surrounded by hordes of nasty, evil, gribbly things I have never seen before. "Argh! Had dMr been corrupted by the Lich King? Am I to become one of His pawns?"

Thankfully the answer was "No". Someone who had clearly lost his senses thought that I (along with 24 other persons) could face and defeat the minions of the Lich King. Someone has a lot of faith in my inadequate kit and even more pitiful experience...but there is nothing like being thrown in at the deep end.

I quickly hatched a cunning plan. Unless told otherwise, I would stand next to one of the other Boomkins and shoot what he shoots, with the same spells that he uses. Foolproof.

So, several deaths later, I am wondering what went wrong...

...and the answer was nothing. Just another dMr Raid Night.

All this is just a long-winded way of saying thank you for a fun evening last night and a special thank you to those who took time to help me through what was an almost over-whelming experience.

it was good to have u along rob - all u need is to get TS sorted then ur well away.

you did well, for your level of gear you put out some pretty good dps and didnt screw up anything, i even saw you alive at the end of some boss fights!

i feel i must apologise, for my part in keeping Rob alive until the end of some fights.  I understand this was not in the true spirit of DMR and first raid experience.  I will endevour not to let this oversight happen again

Just make shure he does a "Kreuz" a few raids and he's all broken inn
